This is my first and only entry for the contest.
He is a slight revamp of my entry last year but with a few things of dearness added. Not only is he that, but he is based off of my favorite color/color scale(grey) and my sister's favorite color(purple). Of my three half siblings I have always felt closest to her, but she has been passed on for some time now sadly. So I thought this year would incorporate her and I into it this year. Now the symbol on the back of the leg is one I made up. It, to me, symbolizes the love and connection sisters share. The one on the lower leg is just something pretty.
You can't really see it here, but under the lower wing is another symbol I created to symbolize my birth element(fire). The orb is also a yin/yang with my and my sister's favorite colors instead of the typical black and white. If I do happen to win, andi, feel free to change small things. I can also get you the color codes if you need them.
