She jumped into the air but flapped her wings like this: left wing flap, right wing flap, left wing flap, right wing flap, left wing flap, and then hit the ground.

Frostbite
He gasped and flew down to Apatite, who was now crying. He scooped her up and looked to see if she had any injuries. She had a bruised hand and wing.

Drexel
He nodded, gave his daughter a stay-here-and-don't-get-in-trouble look, and his wife a loving one. Then he took off as quietly as a shadow, his eyes scanning the ground below.

Rowan
She landed by her daughter, and kissed her bruise like a mother would. "Do you want to take a ride on this one?" She asked kindly.

Lucem
He squeaked with surprise, and flew down to land by his sister. "F-flap b-both at the s-same t-time!" He suggested, demonstrating.

Apatite smiled. "I will try again!" she said, and got on Frostbite's back. "Up!" she demanded cutely.


F R O S T B I T E

Frostbite smiled. "Alright!" he said playfully, and slowly flew up into the air and stopped at a reasonable distance.

Orion watched the other dragons from the side, quite unsure about what he should do. A lot had happened in the last little while, and he was feeling quite exhausted. He would need to rest for the night, but he did not have anywhere to sleep. Sitting on his haunches, Orion continued to watch, wondering if there was anything he could do to help anyone; but not wanting to interrupt anything, he stayed where he was.

I frowned as Dzorak's broken body fell down into chasm below. I let my father pick me up as we were going to leave.

~Paradise~
"And this place was so beautiful..." I shuffled my wings and flew alongside my mate. "Where to now?" I mentally imagined Pyrrhia and its landmarks. "Maybe a place on Jade Mountain?"

Dzorak's body started to stink. Bad.

Orion took one last look at the dead dragon's mangled body before taking a few quick steps and launching himself into the air. A few heavy down beats and it was smooth flying, away from all the commotion of the other dragons.

He shrugged. "Anywhere that can fit us all."

She smiled, and lifted herself into the air too.

He flapped a couple times and was level with his sister. "L-Like th-this!"

Frostbite carefully let go of Apatite as she spread her wings. She flapped and almost fell but caught herself and flew next to her brother. "This is awesome!" she said.

Imagine, Crimson, and Aztec-
Aztec bundled Crimson up in some cloth, left over from scavengers. "She's fine now, but she can't fly, at least for a while." he said. Imagine smiled and crouched down, cuing his son to put Crimson on. He strapped her to Imagine with some leather from their previous meal. The kids climbed on Imagine, resting anywhere from his tail to his head. The load was very heavy, but they needed to get somewhere safer and nicer. "Where to?" Imagine asked, directing their two hosts.
