He snatched up Dawn and put her on Paradise. "Protect her!" He roared, lashing his tail and then lunged to help the attack Dzorak

Orion watched in confusion as multiple dragons damaged each other; blood everywhere. A female dragon spotted him and screeched, and he circled higher. He wondered what was happening, though it seemed one dragon was being attacked by all the others. When the dragon that spotted him flew away from the fighting, he dove down towards her, hoping he wouldn't startle her. "Hey!" he cried out, trying to get her attention.

She whirled around, fangs bared. She lashed out with her back talons. "Touch my hatchlings, and I'll rip out your eyes and shove them down your throat so you can see me tearing out your guts!!!!" It was the worst threat she knew.

~Dawn~
I woke up from all of the commotion and found myself on my father's back. I glided off silently and looked into the battle. I slit my eyes and gave a piercing cry to stop. I kept my gaze on Dzorak as I searched his mind and walked towards him.

~Paradise~
"No!" I put a talon out to Dawn, but she looked back to me like she knew what she was doing.

[husky.]

Orion flapped backwards in a bid to escape the dragon's striking claws, and she narrowly missed his belly. "Ikay, okay!" he said, surprised at her vicious words. "I only want to know what's going on." He tried to keep his voice calm as the other dragon hissed, and he now saw that she was protecting a couple of hatchlings cradled to her chest. "I don't want to hurt you or your hatchlings, honestly."

He stopped his charge, knowing what his hatchling was doing. "It's okay, looks like she's a mind-reader too. I'll be right behind her." He gave Dawn an approving look.

Rowan
She hissed, her head swaying side to side like a snake. "Probably with that evil dragon Dzorak down there, trying to kill my hatchlings. Why should I trust you?"

Lucem
He started twitching, and it became more like flinches. He was very nervous, and terrified.
