and the singular form is also talas.

Oh my god, always, THANK YOU. I was about to just explode over the plural and non-plural versions of Talas, I've tried to tell everyone that and I've seen no improvement in the usage of the word Tala. >c< Its not Tala at all the S is part of the species name.
