How: The kitty wandered the forest, hearing distant noises.A kitten was heard, screeching.Her ears perked up, and her nose picked up a scent leading to the body of a dead kitten.The cat heard something, a growl, a noise like an earthquake.Looking up, the she cat saw three wolves, staring her face to face.Two kittens lay in a corner, their eyes glowing.She leaped at the wolves, raking their flanks.One of the wolves ran off, and one gaurded the kittens.Then, her claw hooked on the beast's eye, and as the other wolf looked at it, coming to help, the kittens ran, and the cat braced herself.To run.As her back paws ejected her, the wolf that retreated burst out of nowhere.It grasped her paw, and shook her down.The cat struggled up with three good paws.The wolf lunged again, tearing the brave cat's throat.She struggled for air then soon died, knowing that the kittens were safe.She watches them grow, day by day.And the kitten that was dead, it joins her, knowing it's siblings are safe.Now she looks after the kitten, and watches it grow also.
