Basic Facts

Spice pups are small, dog-like creatures that have very long, thin tails.
At the end of their tails, they have a large tuft of what looks like to be
translucent fur, but is actually made of electricity. This holds the the
SP's life source: spice. They also usually travel in packs. The spice
is received by the spice pup at birth. Right when the spice pup is
born, it is given spice to eat. If the spice pup isn't given it at birth,
or if the pup's body rejects it, it could develop SPS (or Smite Pup
Syndrome). To make sure the pup is healthy, it is very important to
give the pup either the spice type of its mother or father. In some
cases the pup could accept other kinds of spice, but it is very risky.

Unusual disorders

Small Spice (SS)
Spice Pups with small spice don't have as much spice in
their tails as they should,and they aren't able to communicate
with other Spice Pups very well. There are two ways a SP can
get small spice. Either they didn't consume enough spice as a
baby, or they were close to death at one time in their lives.


Smite Pup Syndrome (SPS)
Spice pups with this disorder, will not be able to grow into
it's adult form. These pups were given a type of spice that
neither the father nor the mother accepted, and their
body rejected it. These pups won't be able to grow to
it's adult form or it's full potential.

The type of spice in a SP's tail can affect their personalities. There are five types of spices.

Salt (Very Common)

SPs with salt have a fairly happy personality. They are not quite as happy as Ginger Spice Pups, though. They are slow to anger and very loyal.

Ground Ginger (Common)

SPs with ground ginger have a very happy, bubbly personality. They always like making others happy, and dislike grumpy people.

Lemon Pepper (Uncommon)

SPs with lemon pepper have a fairly average personality. When something gets them mad, though, they are not happy for a while.

Paprika (Rare)

SPs with paprika have a sweet and sassy attitude. They appreciate kindness, although they have a very sharp tongue.

Pepper (Very Rare)

SPs with pepper are very negative. The only thing that can cheer them up is the company of a very good friend.

Alphas

There are two alphas in each pack. Usually a male and female. They are in control of the pack.They are also usually a mated pair, but there can be some special cases. The alphas usually have the larger line edits and accessories.

Betas

There are two betas in each pack. Can be any gender. They are the second in command. Although, they are never a mated pair.

Warriors / Guards

Warriors fight rival packs and predatory animals, and guards stay behind during attacks and protect the main dens. Warriors and guards exchange roles. Both warriors and guards divide into teams of at most six, all with a leader. In an average sized pack there are two full teams.

Hunters

Hunters provide food for the pack. They also divide into teams of at most six all with a leader. In a average sized pack there is one full team.

Pups

Pups generally stay in the main den complex until they are old enough to start learning their skills for either a warrior/guard or a hunter.

Seniors

Seniors are spice pups that are either too old to continue with their duties in the pack or have suffered a severe, permanent injury.

Customs are usually only allowed during 12:00 - 5:00 mountain
time, 2:00 - 7:00 eastern

(You can only choose either a salt or ground ginger as your
spice type. We may allow different types later, but for now
only salt or ground ginger!)
