The next morning, Penumbra awoke to the sun shining through cracks in the cave ceiling. He raised his head and let out a yawn as he stretched out his wings.

I held him down and clamped down onto his neck harder. He lashed up with his tail, trying to effect me, but I just slashed at him when he whipped me, close to breaking his spine. He just whimpered angrily and hissed breathlessly, gasping for air. I roared as I thumped down onto his back and hindquarters, holding his shoulders as I cranked my head and finished the match with a shuddering crack. The crowd uproared and wings flared in victory as I let go and looked up in my sitting position.

Snowflake woke up. She shook her glimmering scales. Climbing out of her cave she satvon the top with her claws dug In for support.

Penumbra lumbered to the cave mouth, flinching slightly as he dipped his head out into the harsh sunlight outside. He gazed up at the sky, looking at the few, small clouds that slowly drifted across. The big dragon let out a long yawn as he sat down to stretch his wings.

She continued on her journey for a while, and luckily caught a rabbit. After her short nap, she saw a huge palace, and realised, with concern, that it was the Skywing Palace! And she saw someone coming for her. It looked like a very angry dragon.
(Anyone want to be that dragon so I can fight in the arena?))
