What is a Mippi?

Mippi is a small hyperactive mammal closely related to pikas. The name 'Mippi' originates from the high pitched 'meep' sound they use to communicate with each other. Their body are short, covered in long dense fur to keep them warm in their cold tundra-like habitat. The horns on their head are covered in velvety fur and generally not harmful as they only use these to protect themselves in the nature. Mippis are naturally very social, living in a group of at least 2 individuals [though a group of 20+ are not a rare sight!], and help each other build a series of underground burrow to sleep in, raise their young, and hoard food for winter; such as grass hay, grains and seeds. Because of their fun and loving personality and small size, they are very popular amongst people who do not have much space for larger pet. Would you like to adopt one today?

Personality:

She is calm. Very calm. Extremely calm. Too calm.
Iris is a very calm mippi, unlike her active peer. She enjoys staying outside, under the shade of a tree. She likes lying on her back to look at the clouds and think gentle thoughts. She never brews tea outside, thinking that it is unsuitably to be done in public space. She sometimes stay until it is night and changes from counting clouds to counting stars.

When not outside, she can be found in her small, warm burrow, brewing tea. During these times, she would wear a green bandana as a charm to keep her concentration and would proceed trying out new techniques and using different mugs to achieve different mood and taste. She would leave her door open, letting other mippis come in for a moment of calamity and to allow the breeze to ventilate the area. During winter, she would instead make a small window and leave it open so that whenever it gets too warm, she could poke her head outside and enjoy the sudden tingling coolness. However, it is a rule that one Sundays, strangers are not allowed inside as she spends the day cleaning up her burrow.

Many would call her too calm.

She believes in luck, but not in faith. That is she thinks she creates her own path, but how successful that path is depends also on luck. When those around her are in a hurry, she would give them a small cup of tea and say gently:

Iris seems to be understanding, but it is more accurate to say that she is a good listener. She can listen to one mippi complain for hours on end without seeming bored, but her replies tend to be along the lines of "Don't worry" and "I'm sure it will all work out". She is naturally quiet and has a tendency to be too kind to strangers. When wanting to start a conversation, she often talks about astronomy despite having limited knowledge about the actual stars. Otherwise, she would be very much interested in a conversation regarding tea short poems and books.
