Mirror and Symmetry-
Mirror snickered and started poking Drexel's thigh. "You're nice and muscular there, that's how I like 'em!" At this, Mirror and Symmetry snickered some more. After a fit of laughter, Symmetry spoke up. "So you guys are friends of our parents? Do you go on play dates at the playground in the Skywing palace, too?" she taunted. The two couldn't control themselves. Finally, Mirror managed a straight face. "So, what's this thing?" he asked. He had refrained from poking Drexel and had began poking the egg. One time, he poked it a tad to hard and it cracked. Mirror jumped back, surprised with what he just did.

~Paradise~
I hissed slightly when they touched it, and brought it closer protectively and breathed soothing hot air over it. "It's an egg, now don't touch it." I sternly pointed a talon at them. The top popped off with a boom and strange light poured out of it as my eyes widened.

Mirror and Symmetry-
Symmetry raised her eyebrows. "Hey, Mirror!" she whispered, elbowing her brother below the ribs. "I think someone's grumpy!" she said, covering her mouth with a talon so Paradise wouldn't see, pointing with the other talon. Mirror grinned and nodded. "May I see it?" he asked Drexel. His question was rhetorical, as he immediately used his grabby little hands to steal the egg from Paradise. He began cradling it between his arms. "What'll you name him? Ryan?" he asked. "Mirror! How rude!" Symmetry exclaimed. "What if it's a girl!" she asked. Mirror pondered this for a while. "Then she'll be Jenny." he decided, rolling the lit egg across his back until it reached his tail. He picked it up. "What's an egg use for, anyway?" he asked. "Why can't the darn thing just come out?" he asked, poking it.

~Paradise~
"Ack! No! Give it back!" I snatched it from their curious talons gently and held within mine. The light died down as soon as it was taken away from me. A sound cried out from the large shell and I let the dragonet be to come on it's own. I turned around from the dragonets.

Mirror and Symmetry-
Mirror rolled his eyes. "Psh. This chick is no fun. The big dude should ditch her." he said. He pulled Symmetry's arm as a cue that they should walk away, and they headed back to the nest with their other two siblings.

Drexel
He snarled, his features suddenly becoming ten times more viscous. "Stay away..." He hissed, his head swaying back and forth. He walked closer to the hatchlings and swatted them gently away from his egg.

~Paradise~
The cracks down the side of the egg got longer and wider. It was slowly coming apart and seemed to be blooming like a flower. Then, as it completely came apart, a hazy light stayed for a while, then disappeared. What it left was a pure black, dark hatchling, but as it stirred and woke up, beautiful colours came up onto her pelt like the sunset. A deep purple on her snout, fading to a bright orange on her tail. She was large and had more of a physique like her father, a NightWing. I gasped in amazement and brought her close as she started chirping and crying. "I think we should call her Sunset Dawn."

All the Kids-
Azec woke up and rubbed his eyes. He squinted at his twin siblings, seeing that they were awake. "What endeavors have you journeyed this morning?" he asked. Symmetry and Mirror blinked and looked at each other before answering. "Uhh, dunno what your saying, but we learned that there are creepy boring people in our house who claim they're mom and dad's friends. They're very dull and boring." Symmetry said, turning from Aztec and crossing her arms. "The ones with that dumb egg?" it was Liesel who spoke. Her open wing swung around wildly as she sat up. Mirror nodded. Aztec thought for a while. "I can hear the baby now." he said, sniffing. "That... thing should've hatched from it's confinements long since. The time period of baby growth for dragons is quite short." he stated. He picked up a sheet of papyrus and squinted. "I seem to be lacking vision. I cannot read my previously stated observations about the intruders. Don't fret though, I think I have a logical solution." he picked up a few twigs from a pile he had collected, and added two shards of glass he had found left over from Scavengers. He tied it all with sinew, and put it on his head, the twig snug on his ear. "There. Now I am able to visually comprehend my notes." he picked up the sheet again. "I do believe that the bulky one's name is Drexel. The less patient female must be the one known as Paradise. They appear to be mates." he concluded. His siblings stared at him, confused as ever. He sighed. "Their names are Drexel and Paradise. Paradise is the grumpy one." he slowly confirmed. The others nodded. "Oooh..." they chorused.

Drexel
His features portrayed a smile mixed with immense joy and pride. "Perfect." He whispered, bending his head so he could look the female hatchling in the eyes. The hatchling sneezed on him, and Drexel chuckled. "She's adorable." He layed down, his tail curled widely around his hatchling. "I wonder what powers she will have.. Will she be able to see the future or read minds, like a Nightwing? I doubt the future part, since I lack in that skill. Will she be an incredible fighter and swift flier like a Skywing? Will she be remarkably intelligent? Its hard to tell.." He said, letting the curious thoughts flow through his mind like sand.

Frostbite sighed. "Never mind."

(Is Rowan going to lay eggs? Frostbite is her mate... I think... right?)
