1. The same member's cats may NOT:
Mentor each other,
have crushes on each other,
or be mates with each other.
2. Cats may only have up to three kits.
Any more than that overcrowds the role play.
3. No complaining if you don't get an apprentice.
The pairings are completely random.
4. Any graphic mating scenes should fade to black.
'Cause that's just gross...
5. Have fun with it!
Relationships create drama and interest. We need them!

TerritoryCampNorthern border
The lake. LakeClan's camp is in the northernmost corner of their territory, nestled right up against the waters of the lake. It is their water source throughout the year and gives them one less side to worry about, but other than that and the beautiful view of the mountains on the other side, the lake doesn't do much for the clan.
The wall
The camp's wall is made of brambles, sticks, and tightly intertwined vines to keep predators out. It curves around the entire camp, ending at the edge of the water on one side and the edge of the cliff on the other. It only breaks in one place, curving outward into a tunnel that is used at the entrance and exit from camp. This tunnel is lined with brambles all year round, but in newleaf, the clan organizes a project where wildflowers are laced into the walls as well.
The cliff
There is a slight rock cliff that makes up another side of camp. It is short enough at its highest point that cats can jump up onto it, and it slopes down to the ground right at the edge of camp. There are two caves in the side of this cliff, however: the bigger one is medicine den and the smaller one is the leader's den. The leader stands on top of the cliff to give announcements.
The dens
The dens in camp are not very unique. They are mostly bramble structures much like the wall, situated at various points around the clearing that is camp. The bramble structure dens are the warriors' den, the apprentice den, and the elders' den. The nursery is an old, big abandoned rabbit hole, which keeps the warmth in during leafbare and the cold in during greenleaf. The leader's den and medicine den are mentioned above. The nests are all made out of a structure of sticks and are padded with moss and whatever else a cat desires to add to it. (Ex.- feathers, leaves, scented flowers, etc.)
Freshkill
The freshkill pile is located in a slight dip in the ground in the center of camp. Common things to be found in it are mice, squirrels, voles, thrushes, robins, and rabbits (only after team hunts.) More uncommon things are shrews, blackbirds, and any other possible prey in the forest.
Predators
Predators are mainly just foxes and the occasional badger, though there have been a few incidents where kits who have wandered out of camp have been taken by birds.Outside the territory
Starstream
The Starstream is a stream that runs straight through LakeClan territory. However, if a cat follows it, it will lead him/her to the Star Caves.
Star Cave
The Star Cave is far outside LakeClan territory; it is about an hour away by foot. It is, of course, the StarClan meeting place. This is part of the reason why medicine cats tend to take on apprentices early on; in case they are unable to make the moonly journey to the cave systems, their apprentice will. Leaders also go here to get their nine lives, and the day before they become warriors, all apprentices are taken here to convene with StarClan to erase any doubt they might have about their ancestors.
The Star Caves is a cavern built into the side of one of the mountains visible across the lake. It has a high ceiling with one small hole, letting in the moonhigh moonlight to light the still, black water and the slippery ledge leading around it to the small sandy beach at the back. A cat simply has to put his or her paws in the water and fall asleep in order to speak with StarClan. When the beach is flooded, the cats have to remain on the ledge.
The NamesMany, many people are hopelessly confused on the naming process of warriors. It is not a matter of what sounds the most attractive or what is the most unique. While of course the cats involved in naming a kit or a warrior will want a name that sounds nice and is different from the rest of the clan's names, symbolism means much more to warriors. The Naming of a KitThese names are the names that set a name off. (<-Overuse of name?) These are your Bramblekits, Tigerkits, and Poppykits.
*A kit will never, ever be named for its eyes! I see this
all the time and it really irritates me. What, was your cat not named until it was at least three moons old? Doubtful. The eyes of a kitten can remain closed anywhere from one week to ten days, and even when they do open their eyes, they won't be the same color as they are when the cat is fully grown. (And don't even throw the blue eyes at me. I have had mostly blue-eyed cats, and cat-blue eyes and kitten-blue eyes
are not the same color.) Besides, eye colors are too unpredictable to be a part of your cat's name. Imagine assuming your kit will have blue eyes, as she's mostly white, so you name her Bluekit. But then she develops green eyes, and so now she has a name that makes absolutely no sense. Don't get offended and leave; this is important to the naming process of a cat. It is likely that you have never had close interaction with kittens as they grow, and that you didn't really know all these facts. (Please, please, please also take genetics into consideration when making a kit! If the kits' parents both have yellow eyes,
the kit can only have blue eyes if both the parents possess the recessive trait for blue eyes. And that's not common. If one parent has blue eyes, the only way the kit will get blue eyes is if the other parent has blue eyes or at least possesses the recessive trait for blue eyes. Confused? PM me.)
THINGS THAT WILL (SHOULD) NEVER BE USED FOR KIT NAMES:
Eye color *above
Emotions (love, anger, sorrow)
Parts of the body (Head, leg, heart, tail, blood) (Exceptions: Whisker, for exceptionally long whiskers. For other long things, use Long-.)
Spiritually related terms (Spirit, death, star, ghost, and anything like that.)
Mystical creatures of human tall-tales (Dragon, fairy, unicorn, etc.)
Human objects they have no idea about (Yarn, jewels, (diamonds, emeralds, rubies, sapphires) etc.)
Yes, I have seen
all of these being used.

The Naming of a Warrior
This is leaps and bounds more important than the naming of a kit! These names tell who the cat is, targeting their strengths and their personality. [b]The warrior part of a cat's name will almost never continue to describe their appearance! There are a few exceptions for when there's nothing else to describe, like -stripe, but the warrior name should be used to describe a prominent personality trait or strength in a cat.
