Username: Jiloon
Kennel Number: 67
Use: Well, apparently I will be used in an elaborate love story with Romeo, if we are both won by Jiloon. She promises to love us dearly and use us frequently in RPs, I really hope so!
- About the character -Name: My name is Juliette.
Gender: I am a mare.
Species and/or specific breed: I am a draft horse mix. (technically a Phyraex?)
Personality: I am aggressive towards most outsiders, but I can be very welcoming to drop-dead-gorgeous studs.. I do admit that I often judge with looks first and personality later, but most say that I am pleasant enough to be around. I love to eat, and I don't like running very much since I'm pretty broad, not fat! I take pride in my looks (narcissistic) and I never like to appear in public without being semi-clean.
History/Background:Born in captivity, I run with a bit of snobbishness. I was born as an accident foal when a stallion got into the mare pen, and the humans who owned me quickly mastered me. They weaned me much to early from my mother, and the last time I saw her was when I was only 3 months old. They auctioned me off at a public auction, and most of the horses went to a skinny old man with a look in his eye that I just couldn't trust. He almost got me, but then a plumpish lady outbid him. Quickly I was loaded into a van, loose, so that my legs kept jarring and I kept changing between lying down and standing, I was so uncomfortable. Eventually the truck stopped for good and the back ramp went down. I stood in what had up until now been a prison, frightened to step out. The plump lady appeared again though, and she beckoned for me to step down. I slowly walked down the ramp, ready to bolt if anything seemed dangerous, but I reached the ground without any trouble. My ears perked up and I brought up my head, the lady smiled and reached out to me. At first I shied away, but then I returned when she did not move even a little bit threateningly, and found something to eat in her hand. It tasted sweet, and it was crunchy, but I didn't yet recognize it (carrot).
So the lady formed a bond with me and took over as my step mother, slowly and patiently training me so that I didn't usually realize it. Then one day, I found that I was under saddle and the lady was having one of her stable hands step up into the saddle. My eyes widen as I feel his weight on my back for the first time, and I bolt forward with already heaving sides. I tremble slightly, and all of a sudden I fear the humans far more than anything else in my life. Backing away, I shake my head as I realize I have a bit in my mouth. Stepping on the reins, I yank my head down without knowing it was my own fault, and I shoot my head up again, pulling on my hoof, which freaks me out even more! I strike forward and I feel a slight burn as I watch a snapped leather bridle flop down, and I spit out the bit. Having a little more freedom now, I start circling away from both humans, even my trusted lady. She is calmly calling to me but I won't let her come anywhere near me, I'm just terrified. Eventually, both she and the boy leave the small arena and I am left alone.
Sighing, I lay down and start to roll, attempting to get the saddle off of my body. It takes a while, and I also have to rub along the fence, but eventually I feel the girth loosen and the saddle slips off as it rubs apart. Shaking my head, I trot over to the gate. It is a simple latch, and I grab it with my teeth and shake it. After a few minutes and several tries, I slid open the bolt and nudge the gate open, looking around guiltily. When nobody comes to punish my behavior, I launch into a full gallop to get off of the property. I hear the lady I had grown to trust yell from behind me, but I keep running and don't look back. Of course, I get to the public road and a car whizzes by, terrifying me as I acknowledge how much damage those big metal machines could render.
Trotting alongside the road, I reach a more open space and I pick up the pace, going out towards a less-inhabited area. Only when I can no longer smell any human traces, miles and miles away, do I slow to a walk and put down my nose. I am exhausted now, and so I lie down in a heap and sleep like a log.
The next morning, I wake to the sound of birds singing and a smell of dew in the air. Heaving up my body, I look around for water, which I was used to being provided with, and see something shimmering. I follow the shimmer and it leads me to a small brook, but its something. I graze around the area for a while, and then continue on in the direction I had been going the day before. It takes several miles, probably a few dozen, before I catch the scent of another horse. Actually, multiple horses. I whinny loudly, and listen, but nobody replies. My ears droop and I continue on, whiffing old horse smells every now and again. Then I get a strong fresh scent, and so I whinny again and wait for an answer. I am just about to give up when I get a loud booming reply. I'd never heard a stallion before, but my instincts told me that that was who it was, a stud. My eyes light up and I start trotting briskly towards the origin of the sound, not stopping as I trod over tons of fresh green grass. As I brink a small hill, my eyes come to rest on a beautiful stallion gleaming in the morning sun.
Eagerly, I step forward and neigh to him again, and he returns my call with a powerful whinny of his own, and lunges towards me. He is a little older than me, but seeing as I was only 4 thats not hard to be. He stops just a few feet away and paws the ground, bobs his head, and looks me in the eye. I fall in love instantly.
((Story will change from this part on with different RPs or if I include a different character, but you kinda get the idea?))
