Hello there, my username is SabjeBammie, as you can see under my avatar and on the top of this post. I love animals, I love characters and I love art. I love reading books, motly fantasy or horror/thriller. With horror, Stephen King is my favorite author. I hope his books can inspire me to write stories too, but for my characters. They deserve it!

The kennel I am applying for is kennel number 4.

Use:

Mc Denzel will be used as a character, among with my other characters on my weebly. I want to write stories about them too. But sadly school takes over my life. But I will when I get time! And look, it's my big summer vication in 2 weeks That means I can do more art and write stories! <3
He will get more art and will be loved. He'll have friends to hang out with. I recently started with animated images, I want to give him a blinking artpiece and a howling dog image
If I win, he'll be added to my succes story thread. Since I spend a lot of time on my form(s) it would be a shame to just let them collect dust. I love looking at my older forms. They are a big inspiration to me!
Since I made his revamp I realized how much I loved him. It's that tattoo that makes him so perfect! I really love him, he is really amazing. Though he looks hard to draw it's not that bad Even the tattoo isn't that hard to make. I really love him and his design <3 The original had a glow coming from the tattoo, I will remove that. but besides that I won't change a thing!

Why do I want Mc Denzel?:

Look at him and tell me you don't want to have that amazing guy. Those dots, the colors, the line at his eye, that tattoo... And those eyes... When I look at his eyes I just want to hug him, tell him how much I love him and that I'll never let him go.
I saw him in the kennel, unlpoved, not a single form gor him. It made me sad, so I made a revamp, hoping he would get more attention.
My plan worked, but it backfired. He's got my attention. I didn't want to apply for him, I just wanted to give him more love. Now I want to give him a home.
I fell in love with his design, eyes and tattoo. Those eyes and tattoo make him diffrent. And I plan on making him even more diffrent, but with his personality. His design will remain the same ^^.

Name:

This guy will be renamed Mc Denzel. He looks like a tough guy with that tattoo, so i want him to have the name of a gentleman. You know, with a suit, a top hat, a walking cane, maybe even a monocule... He will never look like that, but I just think it's a funny combination.
No idea how I came up with it. I looked at him, and that name popped up. I name a lot of characters that way ^^

Nickname:

Since not everyone wants to call him Mc Denzel some started to call him Ash. It's not sure why they do that. Some said it was because of the snoring sound he makes when he's asleep...

Mc Denzel is a male.

Species and/or specific breed:

His breed is unknown, his species is a canine. He probably has wolf blood in his vains, and maybe even hyena.

Sexual orientation:

He is straight, but doesn't mind others being bi or gay. As long as they don't bother him with it...

I choose this song for him because of his complicated personality and life story. He often felt alone and ignored in the past, this song is what kept nhim on his feet untill others learned to accept him.

Mc Denzel is a daydreamer. Sometimes he doesn't even realize what is real and what isn't. He thinks he has done some pretty big things, like going to Mars, saving others from a fire, winning a motorcicle race... But obviously none of it is true. But he doesn't know he is not telling the truth: to him it is true. He doesn't have a split personality, he doesn't hallucinate... No one knows why he thinks it's all true.
But he doesn't always lie. In fact, there are days he doesn't lie at all. It seems like if he has a negative mood (sad, angry, scared, shy) it happens more than when he's in a positive mood (inventive, happy, playfull).
Mc Denzel doesn't like being the center of attention. He loves to talk and tell stories, but he's also afraid he'd tell things that didn't really happen. He wants to say he's honest, but he knows he isn't. That makes him sad, actually. He wants to be normal, but the stories and lies make him feel like he's diffrent. It sometimes make him feel uncomfortable.
His friends understand he can't help it, they don't really seem to blame him. In fact, they enjoy listening to his stories. Sometimes they try to stimulate him to tell more stories. He's an impressive story teller.
Most of the times he's happy, but everyone has moments when they are not. That also counts for mc Denzel. Sometimes he feels depressed.
He can wake up from having a nightmare. Once that happens he is grumpy and sad for the rest of the day. If he is, better let him be, don't get into his way. He'll come to you when he wants to have someone around.
Mc Denzel isn't very patient. When he has to wait for a while he will become a little restless: moving his head a lot, hopping from one leg to antoher, stepping left and right a lot. He needs something to do, even when he is just enjoying the sun. He hates boardgames, since you have to wait for other's turns and think a lot with some of the boardgames.
But he likes Twister. He's not very good at it, but he likes it. He's not a sore loser, having fun is much more inportant to him than winning. If you ever play with him: don't let him win. Let him work hard to win, let him deserve it. If you just let him win he'll get angry. He wants a fair game or no game at all.
Mc Denzel is social. He needs others around him, but sometimes he talks too much, which drives others crazy sometimes. Just tell him to calm down if he does, he is understanding enough not to get angry for it. In fact, it makes him happy if you tell him to calm down. It shows him you care enough to stick around with him.
He knows he is not the easiest one to hang out with and he tries to keep it in mind, but sometimes he needs a little help.

Mc Denzel was born in a forest, close to a mountain. He had 2 brothers and 1 sister. Having 1 sister meant his parent used to spoil her a lot and leave the boys to hang out wih eachother. Often Mc Denzel felt a little jealous. He often got fights with his sister for that, and his parents always agreed with his sister.
He got so sick and tired of it that he left. He ran away from home, being only 9 dog years old. He walked through the forest for a few weeks, eating fish to survive. Not the best diet, but good enough to stay alive. He went higher and higher in the mountain.
Untill he was too tired to move on. He dropped himself on the ground, giving up on everything. He wasn't ready to survive on his own, he needed meat and no fish. He needed the help of others.
Just when he was about to close his eyes for a deep sleep - expecting never to wake up again - a female wolf found him. She went over to him, washing him and lying down next to him to keep him warm. He looked up at her with a thankfull look, then passed out.
She carried him home; a cave where she lived with her own children. She was the mother of 2 male pups and 2 females. They seemed worried about him, but she made sure they didn't get to close to him.
The mother wolf gave him some fresh meat, since she just caught a deer less than an hour ago. Mc Denzel thankfully ate it, then drank some fresh water. For the first time in his young life he felt happy and accepted.

One of the 2 girls, Sheila, was having a crush on him. They flirted with eachother for a while, untill they told eachother their true feelings. Mc Denzel was a strong adult canine now. They decided to move out of her mother's cave, going their own way together.
They found their own cave and soon she was pregnant. Mc Denzel was worried, would he be a good father? He was worried to make the same mistake as his own parents: spoil 1 pup and ignore the others. But Sheila was sure he wouldn't.
Untill a dark day arrived in Mc Denzel's life. His beloved Sheilah got sick. He had no idea what was going on, and there was no one around to ask for help. A few hours later she passed away...
Mc Denzel was very depressed. He never knew his children, he only had a few short years with Sheila... He was very depressed.
Somehow he told himself stories to keep his mind off his loss. Maybe that is why he can't decide what is real and what isn't. His stories became a part of him. Without his stories he feels like an empty body without a soul.
He remembered Sheila loved tribal artworks. So he decided to get himself a tattoo. A tattoo to honor Sheila, to let her still be close to him wherever he would go.

Luckily Ice Storm found him while she was exploring the mountains. She brought him back to her home, accepting him the way he had become. She knew he didn't always tell the truth. But did it matter? She had someone to talk to, someone who told her the best stories she ever heard! They became true best friends.
Maybe something more will grow between them than just a close friendship? Only time will tell...

I did get permission from Weegee to change up the designs, I have a screenshot if you want me to provide that. That being said I didn't want to stray too far from the design, so I added minor markings, accessories on Rose, and changed the colours up a smidge to make them more appealing.

personality

ོthe one word that could be used to describe eileen is sharp tongued. eileen cannot stay quiet, even if someone is trying to be nice to her. it's hard for eileen to read peoples emotions, and cannot see how anyone is feeling unless their facial expressions are very obvious, or they tell her exactly how she feels.
eileen is anything but modest. if she does something amazing, it's almost certain that she will realize what she did. and because of this, eileen makes sure that everyone knows she did, and how cool she is for doing it.
eileen is very selfish, almost never looking out for others. When asked why, all she says is, "It's every man for himself in this world."
however, after knowing eileen for a while, you can begin to see the nicer side of her, even if it is very small, and only reserved for certain people. if you are lucky enough to get very close to her, you find that their is a different canine on the inside.
however, she is still not a loving, nice canine. eileen is simply a bit over protective at most times.
eileen is territorial, and personal space is a very important thing to her. she hates it when people try to get too close, especially if she barely knows them. it's not like this happens a lot, though. hardly no one ever walks up to her, much less start a conversation.
this isn't their fault, though. eileen isn't very welcoming to others, and has a 'bad habit" of scaring away potential friends.
eileen does not like to share, and it is rare to see her giving away anything. this qualifies her as a hoarder, as she doesn't like to sell things either. most of her things end up in a box in the attic, never looked at again.
of course, when someone tries to get her to sell an item that is not important to her, she always has an excuse.
eileen is a quick thinker, and it is very easy for her to lie, and fool people. to her, it does not seem hard to lie, and her conscience doesn't bother her one bit.
eileen is a "bad girl", not caring if she gets in trouble, or what she does. all she cares about is that the spotlight is on her at all times. if it isn't, eileen is prepared to go to outstanding lengths to get it back. often taking any dare, or simply doing the dumbest things.

history

ོthe normal routine: eileen woke, a small skip in her step as she walked towards the door. her hand on the knob, a split second to opening the door, looking out into the street, and stepping outside, there was a scream. this was different. this wasn't right.
a loud noise, bang!, and then she was on her back, the door to her house opening. she was forced up against the wall by the door in an attempt not to be seen.
it was a miracle that she wasn't, and eileen relaxed as the intruder walked through her house.
it was all she could to to stop herself from letting out a scream. she hated this feeling, hated feeling helpless. but did she really have a choice?
the moment that she knew had been coming came; she felt a small but hard kick against her leg and stiffened.
"get up", came the strangers voice. he was masked, so it was next to impossible to tell what he looked like.
eileen locked gazes with him, and as uncomfortable as it was, she didn't back down. "who the hell are you?", she demanded.
she wasn't in the position to ask questions and have them answered, and the stranger knew this.
he chuckled, "and why, exactly, would i tell you this?" for the first time in her life, eileen was speechless, but did her best not to let it show.
still looking right into his eyes, the stranger took this as a sign to continue. "and who, may i ask, are you?" eileen had known this question was coming, so what he said didn't bother her, it was the flirtatious way in which he said them.
it was as if he could do anything he wanted to her, and didn't even care. she was at his mercy- and he was having fun with it.
he looked at her expectantly, and she began to speak, "my name is early.", she said steadily. why lie? because if he knew her name, it would be as if he owned her, and that was the last thing eileen wanted to happen.
"well, early", he said, "i think i'll be going." as he left, eileen heard the clatter of coins in his pockets, and clenched her jaw.
strutting out of the door, he turned back just once. pulling down the mask just a small amount, he revealed two sea green eyes, and winked at her. "the names surly."
eileen blinked once, then sighed. half annoyed, half tired. she hated herself for it, but eileen could not get surly off of her mind.
his flirty attitude drove her crazy, and she couldn't stand it.
after asking around, she discovered that he was part of the group, the masked devils. they were said to go around terrorizing people and thieving.
eileen couldn't understand how surly was part of this group, he acted nothing like them! however, she soon found that she was mistaken when her town was overrun by the group.
soon they worked as slaves, and surly was their leader. he terrorized as much as the others, and the only one he seemed to have a soft spot for was eileen.
soon after taking over the village, the group demanded they learn everyones name, so they could document the population. because of this, surly had quickly learned what her name was.
instead of doing something terrible to her, he simply said, "i like eileen better than early, anyway."
many of his followers decided to turn a blind eye when they saw surly and eileen together, which happened more and more frequently as the year went on.
slowly, they became closer and closer until they were considered "together". eileen was in love, as well as surly, until one day.
most of the masked devils had been rather angry that their leader had fallen in love with one of the people they were supposed to terrorize, and the group itself broke into a fight. their were only a few on surly's side, only his closest friends. by the end of the night, there was a new leader of the masked devils.
the moment eileen realized this happened, she was heart broken. even though everyone tried to help her and console her, she closed herself off to the world.
she was never open to many, but this was the last straw. eileen closed herself off to the world, except for the few, special ones in her lives.

occupation

ོelieen is a writer. she wakes up around 5:30 each morning, and begins to write, and continues to do so throughout the entire day. she loves to escape her own life and discover someone else's.

home

ོelieen lives in the same small house that she did when she first met surly, many years ago. she lives in a small village, with little contact from any cities. there is little technology in her home, unless you count the train that moves by of the village, very rarely stopping there.

companions

ོeileen's only companions are the many birds that follow her around.

ོeileen enjoys talking to herself, it gives her something to do. she does this often, as it helps her make difficult decisions.
eileen enjoys walking around the village, especially where she and surly would have gone. his men still run her town, but they are not as strict as the ones before. she enjoys imagining that things were how they used to be, before the gang came and ruined her life.
birds have taken a strange liking to her, always following her around. eileen envies them: they can fly away at any time and not worry about looking back. they can start over in a new place, where nobody knows their past.
eileen enjoys being alone, most of all. when she is alone, she doesn't have to get annoyed. she doesn't have to get anry. she doesn't need to scram or yell in annoyance. she can be herself.

dislikes

ོeileen has a burning hatred for the gang who killed surly. now this hatred is strange, as it is not directed at the ones in the gang, who she does not mind, but is directed more at the name of the gang. whenever she hears it, it brings back terrifying, and sad memories.

ོfor her entire life, eileen has had a strange relationship with birds. wherever she goes, they seem to be there, following her. she has an interest in them, as well, though. she fawns over them, and envies them. sometimes she wishes to have wings just like them, and be able to fly somewhere else in the world to start over and have a new life. a new beginning.
