Welcome to the Rainy Shepherd Art Competition!
We're looking for 1-2 active permanent artists (potentially more depending on how many entries we have) and then some guest artists as well!
what you need to do to enter is create a design and give us a little information on yourself such as:
how active will you be?
why do you want to be an artist?
rules include:
- do not use any of your entries as actual shepherds unless we give you permission to do so
- edits are allowed if they follow the guidelines for the species
- follow all of the species rules and guidelines
- all ideas must be your own (loose inspiration of allowed but do not take other characters and put them on the lines)
- do not remove the watermark on the drawing
- be respectful for other contenders, judges, etc
- good luck!
We will announce the winners of the artist spots probably sometime next month - but this may be subject to change depending on how many entries we get.

The Rainy Sherpherd - a breed known for it's protective and nurturing attitude. These large, furry canines live on a minor planet named Spica, after an ear of wheat. The planet holds a terrain that is very much similar to what is found in scotland. Temperate highlands with rocky cliffs into the sea and lush green fields that slowly ascend into mountainous terrain. It rains frequently on Spica; the shepherd really enjoys this weather, thus their name.
