Welcome to the Seaside Serpentine Adoption Center!
What are Seaside Serpentine?
Seaside Serpentine are a special kind of lizard. They grow to be around 2 feet (0.6 meters) long. In the wild, they live in burrows that they dig on the shore of a large body of water, preferably by a large body of salt water such as an ocean. They frequently dive into the water to eat small fish, their favorite food. Seaside Serpentine have been successfully domesticated and are growing in popularity as pets.
Rules
1. No whining or complaining.
2. I made the linearts of these adoptables myself. No editing the adoptables in any way unless you are an artist.
3. Even if you are an artist, you only have permission to color in the linearts. Please don't edit the linearts without permission from me.
4. You can only adopt one serpent per litter.
5. I will try to release a new litter at least every week, but this sometimes may be delayed or even canceled due to schoolwork. Respect that I have a life outside Chicken Smoothie as well.
6. Only use this topic to post forms to adopt serpentine from a litter and to discuss about seaside serpentine. If you would like to become a staff member, click here.
7. Also, if you have a question or are ordering a custom, please PM me.
8. No spamming.
9. If the three slots for customs are filled, then customs become closed. Once I finish a custom and another slot opens, customs will be available again.
10. First come, first served.
11. Have fun!
By the way, adopting a serpent from a litter is completely free. Only customs cost Chicken Smoothie pets.
Rarities
The rarities are Common, Uncommon, Rare, Very Rare and Extremely Rare.
Due to the large number of possible head/tail fin combinations there are, it would be extremely difficult to post every single different variety and give each one its own rarity. Rarity is determined by how frequently a certain trait appears. For example, if I made a serpent with a heart-shaped tail fin and only released it for Valentine's Day, it would be a Very Rare. However, if I release a serpent with a teardrop-shaped tail fin nearly every litter, it would be a Common.
Customs
Custom Waiting List: 1. Open | 2. Open | 3. Open
Customs cost Chicken Smoothie pets. Depending on the amount of customization put into it, sometimes it'll be more expensive than other times. Of course, if these prices don't work for you, you can negotiate the price through PMs. Here are the different kinds of payments you can use:
Copper: One color-in of a common serpent. No lineart changes. Payment: five 2014 uncommons, four 2013 uncommons or three 2012 uncommons.
Bronze: One color-in of an uncommon serpent. Minor lineart changes (larger fins, open mouth...). Payment: Eight 2014 uncommons, seven 2013 uncommons or six 2012 uncommons.
Silver: One color-in of a rare serpent. Medium lineart changes (horns, leg fins...) Payment: Nine 2012 uncommons or a rare from any year.
Gold: One color-in of a very rare serpent. Major lineart changes (extra legs, wings...) Payment: Two rares from any year or a very rare from any year.
Platinum: One color-in of a serpent of any rarity, including extremely rare. Any lineart changes. Payment: Two very rares from any year or an OMG so rare from any year.
Here is the form for adopting a custom. PM me the form once you've filled it out.
