Blade laid in the sand, wings sprawled out and tail limp. He enjoyed the beating sun down on his scales as he lay lazily around. He rolled onto his back so his belly then faced the sun, his wings and tail still sprawled out like dead snakes.

She soared, and spotted a Sandwing lying on the ground. "Er.. is he dead?" She asked Root.

Drexel
He sat straight with excitement, his eyes watching the two carefully.

~Kerosene~
The IceWing was wearing a muzzle, as so they would not breathe a freezing death on impulse, only little puffs to temporarily immobilize the other dragons feet. They were circling each other for a bit, the MudWing lashing it's tail on the sand in a distraction. The MudWing lunged and caught the IceWing by the neck, but not hard, and pinned it's body down using his talons. The IceWing brought up it's tail and lashed the whip like against the MudWing's flank.

Drexel
The Icewings unnaturally sharp claws raked the Mudwings exposed belly. The Mudwing roared in pain, reeling away and clutching his bleeding belly. Then he lunged for the Icewing, ramming into it with so much force that the Icewing flew 10 feet.

I sat up in my seat as Ruby put her talon up and called out to stop the battle. The IceWing went out reluctantly and the MudWing was taken out for healing. Ruby looked over at me and waved for me to go down. I gulped and looked at Drexel, taking a special entrance to the arena.

Drexel
He whispered a goodbye and crossed his talons, his heart beating. If Kerosene got in grave danger, he decided he would fly down and help her. He couldn't watch her die, if it was a fight to the death.
