Ah yes-- I did miss that part.
I do believe, in regards to aging, we are not enforcing exact years upon characters.
You could have an eighteen year old bean that acts like ten year old, so forth and so on, because that is their character.
However (ignoring the fact that the bean is YFS) if the bean were to age up a line set, it is preferred that you do not rp them as any other age then what that specific line set, we cannot stop you from doing so in private, but it shouldn't affect rp's whose setting take place in real time.
I say this because there are those who like to rp scenarios that take place in the past, I know that I do every now and then, but it should be clear that the rp is not real time.
If you get my drift?
If he is in an ongoing long term rp (in which he began as age 10) I don't see a problem in you keeping him that way as long as he matures at some given point in time.

I can't figure out where the adoptables are?
The adoptables are the colour ins beneath the title oekaki [8 JBDs with different designs]. Those are the ones you can adopt [if it is not taken by someone else].
To find out which one is still up for adoption, click on the thumbnail of the JBD you're interested in, and read all of the information on the first post. It'll tell you how to adopt, and when is the end date etc. In almost all cases you fill in the adoption form, and the designer of the JBD will choose the winner based on what is the 'best' form when the end date arrives.
