"Hello and welcome to the Aardrake woods! I'm Amy and I will be your guide for today! Would you happen to be looking for a companion? Something intelegent, unique and that, perhaps, can talk? I'd say you're in the right place! These woods are home to a docile species of dragons called "Aardrakes." Unlike their violent and hot-headed cousins, Aardrakes enjoy a peaceful lifestyle. Most Aardrakes eat five hearty meals a day consisting of insects, plants, fruits, vegetables, and the occaisonal fish. An Aardrake's long, pointed ears help them locate insects as well as hear poachers long before running into them. They are covered, head-to-toe, in small, circular scales that offer no protection, but are very shiny and coveted by poachers. Aardrakes have long bodies and thick legs with large claws that are commonly used for breaking open ant/termite mounds or catching fish. To find a suitable Aardrake companion, you must first impress them by heading down to the 'explore for Aardrakes' area."

The Jungle is great for all explorers.
Packs of friendly Aardrakes are commonly
found here, usually tired of competing for
territory and ready to find a friendly human
owner.

The Meadow's lush flowers blossom all
year long. Normally packs are not found
here, but lone Aardrakes who come to bask
in the sun and snack on the insects and
blossoming flowers.

The explorers of the Aardrake Forest have composed a list of areas
that are safe for traveling in, and for looking for Aardrake companions.
However, they can only take a few people into areas at a time, so
there are a limited number of slots, and the people who get to a slot
first get to explore. If exploring is open, just fill out a form to explore!

Can't find an Aardrake that suits you?
Why not order a custom Aardrake, tailored
to fit your needs? However, to order a
custom, you will first need a 'Blank Egg'
and maybe a 'Comfy nest' if you have a
complex design. Both can be purchased
at the shop in exchange for CS Pets.
Or, (if you are lucky) can be found while
exploring. If you have the required item(s)
and a slot is open, fill out a form to order
a custom Aardrake.

Aardrake Forest, so are used as a currency for buying items
or for participating in events. To obtain dragonflies, you can
either find them while exploring (if you are lucky) or by
trading your Chicken Smoothie pets to Maralise in exchange
for them. The chart below indicates how much your pet will
be worth.

Hmm, this egg is cold, and completely
white! Unlike the usual, speckled Aardrake eggs.
If you think hard enough, it appears you can choose
what design this soon-to-be-Aardrake will have.

Comfy Nest

If you have a blank egg, and your
design is too complicated, this nest will incubate
your egg while it developes your selected design.

Gender-Swap Beetle

If you allow this strange beetle
to bite your Aardrake, it will force your
Aardrake to change its gender. Note; this
effect can never be reversed!

Red Breeding Apple

When given to a female Aardrake,
this apple will allow them to breed once
and have 2-5 eggs in a litter. (See
the Breeding Thread for more
information.)

The Monthly Item ❤

Every montch there will be a special item released that you
can purchase only during that month! The monthly items will
then disappear forever, once it has become the next month!
So be sure to buy a couple of the same item!

The month of May is all about flowers, and since it is the first month that
we have opened up the Aardvark woods, there are TWO special items this month!
Be sure to buy at least one of each, because once June comes, these items will
completely disappear!

Curly Sun-Vines like to gently wrap around things like tree trunks or branches, but
because they don't seem to startle Aardrakes, they can also be worn as an accessory
around the neck. The flowers come in different colors as long as you specify which
color you would like.

The Flower Wreath is a classic fashion accessory to be worn during May. It seems
to make your Aardrakes happier when they wear this light, colorful crown. The Flower Wreath
also comes in different colors, or even multiple colors, as long as you specify which ones you'd like.
