Lena made her way over to the arena with Ebony. "What kind of weapon should we use? I mean, I've never tried any of these. Sword? Battle-ax?"

Mackenzie chuckled as the boy almost fell of the tree. "You should be more careful!" she warned and climbed slightly higher. She was sitting comfortably with no threat of falling. She was nearly an expert at tree climbing. "I'm Mackenzie, by the way."

Ebony Parker
My hand went straight to a sword. I didn't know why exactly, perhaps it was the small dolphin engraved on the blade or I was just too eager, but the sword kind of drew me to it.

"Chance." I introduced myself, I watched her climb higher, "How log have you been climbing trees then?" I asked with a chuckle.

Mackenzie shrugged, "I'm not really sure. Pretty much my whole life, I guess."she replied, looking down. She was comfortable sitting here and it was probably as high as she could climb this tree. "Most people think it's strange for a Hephaestus kid to climb trees instead of inventing something to get us up there." she said.

I chuckled, "Well, I don't think it's strange, but then again I'm not 'Most People'.".

Mackenzie grinned,"I guessed that." she agreed. "But hopefully climbing trees is useful for huntresses of Artemis." she said and thought for a moment of her future as a huntress,never growing old or dying,it sounded a bit dull now. "so, who is your godly parent?"she asked.

Perry walked out of the infirmary, "I'll be back soon." she told the girl in the bed. She walked to her cabin and sat down. There was nobody left except the new girl, Cleopatra. She looked at her and smiled. How did she sleep so well in Hermes cabin?
