I watched and waited as the fish came up and blasted scaulding water after a whole bunch came up.

"Yeah!" She squealed, biting another one. "I think we caught enough!"

"Scavengers are weird." He said, nodding. "Once, one tried to shoot me with stick flinger. The little sticks (they had weird feathers on the end of them too,) just bounced off my scales."

"Okay." I landed and started gathering up the cows.

She sank her teeth into one of the cooked cows. "You're amazing, Root!" She praised, her eyes shining.

"So, why we're you around these parts?" He asked.

I blushed. "Thanks, Rowan." 'That means quite a bit coming from you.' I then thought to myself, since I was feeling affection towards her.

"Well, I'm spending time away from the Sky palace." I replied and suddenly gasped. "Speaking of Sky palace, I've got to get back there soon to compete. If you don't have much to do, you can come with and spectate." I smiled and suggested.

She rushed up and gave him a quick hug, then returned to her meal, trying to hide her blush.

Drexel
"I'd be honored to watch such a beautiful dragon as you compete." He said truthfully.

I smiled and took his compliment. "I don't know who I will be up against, Queen Ruby isn't as sinister as Scarlet, but she still enjoys some entertainment." I started as I started flying. "She doesn't prefer any death, any bloodshed will have the dragon be taken away for healing and the match is over. Dragons who are too crazy will be dealt with elsewhere. We aren't forced to fight, we volunteer, but Ruby knows our strong and vigorous dragons and doesn't let them fight. I, on the other hand, am strong, but can control myself, plus I'm not insane or crazy."

Root
I gently hugged her back when she came up to me and went to eat as well, offering a couple good bites to her.

He nodded, drinking in her every word. "This sounds intense." He said, his eyes widening slightly. "Don't get yourself hurt out there."

"Thanks!" She said smiling as he offered a good bite to her. Once she was done, she sat back with a satisfied sigh. "That was fun and satisfying." She laughed.
