Unless you're volunteering to do the work that comes with making all of these pixels while juggling work, social life, own personal needs and wants, as well as a very time consuming adoptable species as it is, then please don't tell me you're bummed out. I also have to keep in mind that the archivist needs to be able to quickly find all of these parras and archive them with their /original page/ and owner. Plus the idea that someone can't find their parra because they have to dig through this page has already been sorted out by the fact that once your parra has been made or you have won it, you can just search its number in your past posts and easily find it. Because not everyone can partake in something is no valid excuse to tell anyone to do something to fit your needs. I keep them all on the alpha page for the sake of being able to clearly see where all of the Parras are and stay updated on them instead of checking three different pages to see if any of the parras have any violations.
Our archivist does a very well done job at making sure that all of these parras are sorted neatly with their names, and they have even started to add songs onto them to make it a bit more informative. It's a little disappointing when people are too selfish to not go see the work that has been put into that, but instead are asking for better organization on the page just intended to showcase new designs, designs that might not be up for adoption.
Making sure I stay up to date on all of the parras that need pixels isn't exactly easy either. I originally made them as small gifts to help with advertising; their original intent was not to be permanent. I take a lot of time to finish each one with precise detail, and they are very organized in my computer, so I need to be able to find every Parrapup on one page.
My personal life means more to me than a species on a pet website. I'm sure that anyone could agree to that. I'm usually busy with either my own work or maybe working on art for people or just for the Parrapups. I do not like how the Jellybean Dragons are organized, which is why I specifically made it like this. Look for the "Adopt Me!" sign. If I could freely move drawings to places to organize them once I finished their pixels, that would be great! Sadly, I can't even delete a blank drawing because someone commented on it. Instead I would have to go through this site's moderators who I can't get a hold of most of the time. I'm sure they are quite busy as well.
Keeping an adoptable species isn't as simple as many would think. Sadly I have a lot more responsibilities as the owner and I have to make sure everything is running very smoothly for myself and all of the staff. Keeping stress for myself is actually a /very/ high priority for the fact that if I become stressed by these adoptables, I will undoubtedly drop them and just let them gather dust. These are free and I don't plan on charging for them on DA or any site because it's supposed to be fun and enjoyable for people who don't have much to do and create a community for people to share what the love. You know, like joining any other species. As I have noticed with all, if not most, free species are to create community, not to just make a design because they want to just make them and get nothing from it.
If this offends anyone and repels you from wanting to adopt, don't let it. I get frustrated when I'm trying to do something fun and then it's just complained about.
