It's a very simple thread with the few adoptions that I have received. I have to update it a bit, but that shouldn't take too long. I tend not to win very often. ^_^
Personality: Dimitir is a quiet soul and yet, despite the fact that he rarely is seen flouncing about, speaking socially with everyone, he seems to know almost everyone, and everything. He's an amazing listener. He picks up things that most people wouldn't hear about. He is kind and gentle to the one's he loves and he's fierce, cold, and merciless to the ones that dare threaten, or anger him. Amazingly skilled in a fight, with swift movements, and a lithe and agile grace that will leave your mouth hanging open.
Likes: A good book, the rain, the forest, soft summer breeze, Autumn, Winter, and he absolutely loves to just sit and listen to the world.
Dislikes: He dislikes very loud things, people being cruel, Too hot days, and people who dare threaten his loved ones.
Species: Parduseros
Birthday: November 7th
Family: None that's known.
Mate: Not Taken and not at the moment looking. But open
Other: Dimitri tends to speak in different languages. Whatever language it is, with one word, he's bound to be able to copy the accent and speak it as fluent as if he really was it.
Brief History

When Dimitri was born, he had a father, a mother, and a twin brother. As he reached adolescents, his father began to teach him how to fight. As they fought and occasionally just listened, things began to happen in their peaceful forest. Bad things. Animals disappeared and the wind stilled. It was on a cold morning, as Dimitri was walking home from a cool bath in the slowly freezing river, that he realized something was eerily wrong. As he raced home, he stumbled upon something that changed him forever. A river. A small river that had run in front of their house. But something was wrong with it. Instead of the soft green, it was a blood red. His parents lay side by side, his twin brother missing. He went into his home and their, he met something that scared him for life. His brother had been brutally torn at. As if an animal had hacked carelessly at him, with no regards for the animal's own sanity. Then, without a thought, it had slashed his side open and left him, leaving him to die slowly and in pain. As Dimitri rushed to his brother, he realized that he had only a few seconds left. With a heavy heart, Dimitri listened to his twin brother, Axon's, last words.
"Listen..... Brother...... Listen.... And Never..... Never give up......" He breathed, his life leaving him.
Dimitri kept these words close to his heart as he left the massacre behind and traveled. As he traveled, he stumbled upon many like him. Wounded so deeply that they no longer saw the world as a bright place, but as a place of reality. As a place that should be feared for it's creatures that roamed it. As he watched this, his brother's words came back to him and he softened his heart. And he followed his brother. He listened, and he learned. To this day, Dimitri still secretly searches for his families murderer.
500 word min, 1500 word Story or Picture: Dimitri walked through the woods, his footsteps making not a single sound on the leaf carpeted floor. His whiskers twitched slightly and his tail flicked back and forth. His calm ice blue eyes gazed ahead of him, watching the world slowly arise, as the sun approached the sky. His breath misted before him slightly and he stopped. He looked up at the sky, a calm, almost detached look to him. "October 16th, eh..?" He said quietly. His voice was smooth and gentle, drawing most people towards him. His calm, almost soothing aura was a comfort. His eyes saddened. "If I recall... Today was the day Axon died..." He said, his voice merely a whisper now. He bowed his head and silently, he repeated his brother's last words in his head.
"Listen... And never Give up, Dimitri. Never Give up."
He closed his eyes and sighed, sending a plume of white from his mouth as his hot breath touched the cold morning air. It was still too early for the birds to begin their music, and yet, a lone raven sat atop a tree and gazed down at him with curious eyes. He regarded it calmly and he shook his mane, sending white frost cascading down. "Well. If there's one thing I know, it's this." he said, smiling up at the sky. It was slowing turning a sharp pink, orange enfolded between it. "He hasn't left me entirely." He said fondly. With that, he continued walking, the sun slowly touching the sky and the world awakening with a deep sigh.
Anything Else?: Dimitri is very well known around the world. He's known as The Wandering Guardian. Protecting those who need protected, and healing those who were broken and once thought lost. No one's guessed that Dimitri himself was lost and had to fix himself together again alone.

Short Story

Dimitri sat on the grassy hill, watching the sun as it slowly rose and kissed thy sky. His breath misted before him and, despite his thick and sleek fur, he shivered slightly. It always excited him as the sun rose. He didn't know why, but something about that moment, when the sun kissed the horizon before leaving for the sky, that set him off. As the last drop of gold hit the horizon, a breeze blew across the world and the trees whispered to one another, shivering with delight. Dimitri let out a slow sigh and breathed in the clean air. It had been a long time since he had had a chance to witness the sunrise like this.
He looked around, noting the vastness of the plain beneath the hill. He watched as the trees swayed to their own beat and he shook his mane, scattering a few stray droplets of frost. "Krasivyĭ voshod solntsa ..." He whispered, unconsciously speaking in Russian. He sighed and stood up, stretching his back muscles and shaking the cramps out of his shoulders. He padded down the hill, his great body stretching lithely over the earth. Despite his size, his movements were silent and eerily graceful.
He sighed again and he set off at a swift jog, letting the earth direct him. He had no real goal, and thus, he wasn't bound by the law of time that animals around him were frantic about. He had all the time in the world and he moved at the beat of his own drum. He let his tongue roll out, tasting the air. His markings shimmered and he almost seemed to disappear as he sort of blended in with the forest beside him. It was a pleasant feeling, being free, and he relished in it.
But reality always had a way of making you stumble when in flight.
As he ran, sounds began to reach his ears. Tiny cries that weren't fit for beast not monster. He slowed to a halt and cocked his head, swiveling an ear to listen. There! Again! He turned and padded towards the sound. He entered the forest and walked for a few more meters before he stumbled upon a dry river bed. It was steep and the small cliff that sloped down towards it was smooth and had to cracks to use as hand held's. So when he saw the two cubs, sitting in the puddle of mud, his heart broke and a dim rage formed beneath his heart. The are to get down to them was too small for his big body so he reached a paw in and scooped one kit out at a time. He studied them as they sat there, huddling against each other. They were twins. A male and a female. Two Parduseros cubs. The female was a deep brown with silver gray markings and solid ice blue eyes. The male was a deep brown with slightly darker gray markings and slightly deeper ice blue eyes. He cocked and eyebrow curiously. By their coloration, their father had been a Tundra Parduseros and their mother a Forest Paruseros. The males horns were just barely curving at the tip and the females were blunt tips. He frowned and he licked her forehead. They were only a few months old and their fur was thin, wet, and streaked with mud. The female, despite being frightened, purred. He smiled and curled around the two, sighing as he flopped down. he shivered as they pressed their wet bodies against him, drawing his warmth. He slowly began to clean the two. As he cleaned,a small, sad smile crossed his face.
Sometimes, being a Guardian was cruel and hard work. But sometimes, he felt a deep satisfaction. He would find a home for these two over his travels. In the meantime, he would name them and care for them. He glanced at the female and the male, both who were curled up like a ying and yang sign, sleeping against his side. They were still a bit damp, but the mud had been washed away by his powerful tongue. He smiled at them. "Roza. I'll name her Roza...." he whispered. "And Burya. I'll name him Burya." He whispered. The names were Russian for Rose, and Storm.

Some changes have been done to the form. For starters, now instead of being at the bottom of the main post, it's easy to find right above the adoptions. C:
I've changed the note by "Link to character thread" to "Required" because well...it is. ^^; I want to know that these aren't going to be sitting around somewhere on a computer, forgotten.

There is no longer an "OR" for pictures. It's difficult to put personality into a picture that can compare to a well-written description, so I feel that some form of writing should be necessary. This goes hand in hand with the note "Any writing, descriptions, likes and dislikes go here". Anything written can go in that spot. ^^

The other section is now where you can put any drawings, or additional notes if you feel there's a part in your writing that needs to be further explained (Like using "queen" as a term for adult female instead of a monarch.).

I hope that this makes the form-filling process a little simpler. C:
Any forms that have already been filled out before the change do not need to be altered to fit the current form.

I'm updating the adoption thread that I put in his thread at the moment. After that, I'll get to work on his short story. it should be fun. ^_^
