Kennel: P28
Section: POH

Names:
It
Brahma
Breed:
Feral X Italian [Eurasian] Wolf cross
Translates to a Lower North Plains X East Sea wolf in my map.
Age:
Teen-ish to Young adult; 1-3 years old.
Mentality will be that of a creature much younger and simpler than he.
Why do you want this animal & What will you do for itl?:
Why: I would love Brahma because he strikes a chord in me. A chord so deep, that I can almost see myself in him, despite not feeling emo. He has a ring of loneliness, of pain, of despair- feelings I, myself, know far too often than I would ever like to acknowledge.
I will: Be the best owner I can be for him. I will take every opportunity I can for him, because he seems as though, as I did so long ago, that he needs support, someone to be there for him. And so I will be, because no one was there for me.
Personality:
Lost. Brahma, or "It", as his master calls him, is a lost soul with no sense of self. His self-conscious thoughts have been beaten almost to the point of destruction, leaving him a sad, lonely husk with little more than a cell and a single aged bone to call his own.
Submissive. As Shiva's son, Vishnu's, whipping boy, he has given up fighting against the unfair punishment. He takes the brunt of Shiva's anger, and, more than once, the graying muzzle of the possessed beast has closed around some part of his small body, forcing him to cry out and whimper in pain.
Trapped. Brahma feels eternally trapped, and it has developed into a state of mind. Faced with the prospect of escape with Vishnu, Brahma turns himself in because he feels he has nowhere else to go.
Cold. Brahma is cold in the physical and mental sense. His small body does not create enough heat due to his punishments, and so he is eternally cold. However, because he must bear the pain of Shiva's punishments, he is mentally and emotionally cold as well. He cannot feel as many emotions, and cannot fathom "happiness". He cannot think as freely as most others, because thinking leads to speaking- which leads to worse pain.
Near-mute. Brahma rarely speaks unless spoken to, and, when he does speak, his voice is quiet and raspy from disuse. The only guaranteed vocalizations from him are cries of pain and blind assent.
Dislikes & Likes:
Likes:
No-Pain. A broken boy, Brahma does not know the concept of free time or breaks. He only knows pain, and times without it. Naturally, he prefers the latter, and often dreams of when his body will cease throbbing and aching.
His bone. His single worldy possession outside of the earrings that mark him as Shiva's servant, his ages-old bone in his cell is prized far beyond its worth. He tries not to mar it, though sometimes his attempts are not quite as successful as he'd like.
The sun. When he can see and feel it, he feels almost at home, as if his mother and father- mere concepts at this stage in his life- are standing next to him.
Vishnu. His master's son takes pity on him, giving him reprieve after times of Pain. Vishnu's apparent need to give him comforts, though cause for his own pain, mollify him somewhat.
Dislikes:
Pain. Pain rules Brahma's life. Times without it are few and far between, though he doesn't have to like it.
Shiva. An abused slave rarely likes his cruel master, and Brahma- It- is no exception.
Dreams. Foul dreams plague Brahma. Nightmares wake him constantly, and he rarely gets to sleep. A dreamless night is a dream come true.
Confusion. Uneducated and brainwashed, Brahma does not like trying to puzzle out concepts that he has neither experience nor hope of experiencing. The resulting confusion makes him feel sick.
History/Backround:
I am nobody.
Brahma, known only by "It" by any other creature besides Shiva's son, Vishnu, was kidnapped as a pup and made into a brainwashed whipping boy for Vishnu himself, in hopes of correcting his pacifist nature into that which may be respectable in the dark Divinity, V'Arikor's, mind. He has been taught that he is nothing, that pain is a gift- a blessing- and a curse. Through years of torment and torture, his mind has slowly hallowed into little more than nothing.
And Vishnu wishes so badly to change that.
As the young heir, Vishnu must follow in his father's footsteps as V'Arikor's tool- despite being a life-loving pacifist. Vishnu has tried to correct his father's torture on Brahma, by naming him and trying to prevent his poor "friend"- though Brahma does not know such a concept- more pain. Multiple times, he has crept into Brahma's cell and curled up to the smaller, shivering wolf, snuggling against the long, soft tail and whispering happy things into his ear, all the while giggling as the long, curly hair tickled his nose.
But Brahma does not respond.
He just doesn't know how.
