Sorry, I just thought I had to put my username there. I don't own a dragon already, do I have to in order to adopt?

You're fine on the form, I just wasn't sure if you were someone familiar with a new name. For the special Easter dragons you do have to already own a dragon. This is to help ensure they go to users who intend to remain active.

But getting a dragon is as easy as filling out and posting a Hunt Form. I respond to them as soon as I am able, and since there are not currently many active dragon owners I don't expect the Easter dragons to run out too fast.

You may take one adult dragon and optionally one hatchling on a hunt. Not two adults.

(Typically you use the dragon you take with you to catch the wild one. You can read more about it here.)

The wild dragon is startled, but doesn't try to escape. She seems to be more nervous about Spirited Shadow than you.
