The sun was setting behind the tree tops as the massive entity known as Talonstar strode up to the fallen tree he called his den. The giant cat leaped on top and let his call ring, "My Clan!" the tom lifted his upper lip in a crooked smile that mocked StormClan, "my rag-tag team of champions!" the cat let his claws slide from their sheaths while he watched his followers collect. All of them, for one reason or another, had a reason to loath StormClan's existence.
Tonight they proved themselves worthy.
When all the cats had gathered he let himself go on, "I have an important mission for us tonight." without much thought the tom procured a shadowy reflection of himself. The eyes were simple red orbs without pupils.. every other feature ran into itself. Everything expect the tentacle like shapes that slithered in and out of the flesh. Talonstar looked at his creation proudly, "But first.. fetch me Bluepaw and Dustpaw." Instantly the shadowy demon moved forward, causing a grin to spread across the real cat's face. The shadow wasn't gone long as it weaved through the make-shift clan to find two well-grown, light grey apprentices. Bluepaw, the smaller, green-eyed female, strode forward with confidence while her larger, darker brother, Dustpaw walked with his eyes averted and his ears in constant motion.
"Cedarheart has trained you well, Bluepaw." the leader spoke as the apprentices neared him, "and tonight I honor you with the name Bluefoot." the apprentice bowed low, beaming with pride while the herd of rebels cheered and roared. Talonstar's eyes drifted to the dark grey tom and he snarled, "Dustpaw.. Your mentor, Lionear, recently vanished."
The small apprentice looked down and shrugged, "I don't know where he went.." the apprentice squeaked.
"Then it's a good thing Cedarheart caught the two of you plotting your escape.." the black tom growled savagely before leaping on top of the apprentice, easily pinning him. The leader's meow quickly became a loud, angry screech, "None leave our ranks unless by death! Did you pathetic excuse of a mother not teach you anything?!"
Bluefoot's eyes welled as she watched the interactions, knowing better then to step in Talonstar's way. The newly named warrior simply dry heaved and looked away, her emotions nearly taking the best of her.
"You will never betray us again." Talonstar's threat was a mere hiss before he quickly tore his claws through the apprentice's soft underbelly. The small grey tom twitched a few last times while Bluefoot dry heaved again, nearly throwing up all the prey she had eaten that night.
Talonstar stood with a flick of his tail, "Someone go feed his body to the foxes." the leader stepped back and licked his claws before continuing as if nothing had just happened, "Tonight we fight for our land! Tonight we steal StormClan's happiness!" the tom bristled excitedly then turned to face Bluefoot, "and this pretty lady shall lead our attack efforts."
Without waiting for a response, Talonstar leaped down, "I want Stormpaw by my side!" when the she-cat was in sight the tom called out again, "With a name like that, you know I can't trust you yet."
Talonstar dashed through the forest to StormClan's border and raised his tail to slow his following "clan-mates". He needed to give Hawkblaze orders before moving any further.

Fawnpaw dashed back to camp, her face a flurry of joy. She zipped between the trees as the sun began to set. She knew better then to be out this late all alone.. however.. she didn't necessarily care. Her excitement was so high that the she-cat could feel her claws growing warm which made her even happier. The small ball of orange fur zipped this way and that barely avoiding collisions with trees or hard stones.
The she-cat burst into camp, looked around at everyone and instantly headed to the apprentice's den. She poked her head in through the branched, "Crowpaw?" the she-cat huffed, "Mintpaw..? Robinpaw?" The she-cat huffed twice as loud this time and turned around, sitting on her haunches angrily. Of course, this was unusual for the happy apprentice and her claws slowly began to cool down as she got slightly irritated.
"Of course the one time I manage to actually do something amazing no one is around to hear!" The orange she-cat's pelt fluffed up just at the thought and for a moment she was her normal, happy self again. She quickly smothered that down though as she remembered that she was supposed to be angry! The young cat pinned her ears back, "This mad thing is so hard!"
After several long moments of sitting outside the apprentice's den she got up and moved toward the fresh-kill pile. She picked out a small mouse and nibbled on it at an extremely slow rate hoping that someone would show up to keep her company. Someone she could brag to! Of course, she'd tell Brackenstrike but he'd probably get so mad and protective that Fawnpaw shrugged that off before even thinking about it.
