These notes were recorded by a member of the Brookvale police force. Some information is considered opinionated.

* U s e *So I should give a little background for these two characters. For quite a few months now, I've been writing down bits and pieces of a story about a group of dogs work together in a CSI lab. The first to the party was Maverick, quickly followed by the other members of the group. (Who are mentioned in both Laura's and Nova's relationship sections) But since the story began, the idea of two interns has been there, one working in the field and one working in the lab. And it wasn't until I saw Laura and Nova that I though, "Yes, those are my interns".
So in short, Laura and Nova will be sharing the stage in a massive novel. Both would be an almost constant present, with Laura being one of the main characters intern and Nova being the lab intern.

Canidae family, related to the wolf and the domestic dog. They are native to about 10 African countries, but there are only two prominent populations throughout the world. These foxes are Insectivores, as termites make up almost 80% of their diet. On average, Bat-Eared Foxes stand about 11.8-15.7 inches tall, their ears making up to 5.3 inches of that height. They generally weigh about 5-10 pounds.
* L a u r a i n C o m p a r i s o n *Laura hails from the magnificent and exotic Colorado, which is unusual for a warm-climate creature such as herself. Her family had lived their for generations, which caused her family to have slightly fluffier fur than their African relatives. She retains part of the Insectivore diet, but doesn't shy from spanning out. At 13.7 inches tall and 8 pounds, Laura would be considered a normal sized fox.

* L i k e s *+her job+Laura would have never went into the CSI business if she didn't like it. She enjoys the variety she sees and often puts in over time so that she can spend more time at the lab.
+her friends+Laura never understood how girls would pretend to be friends with each other but secretly loathed or despised each other. If she considers you a friend, she is being completely and honestly truthful with you.
+danger+Though she would never admit it, Laura is an adrenaline junkie. That may be one of the underlying reasons she went for the CSI job. As time goes on, Laura needs more dangerous situations to put her at that high.
+coffee/soda/energy drinks/anything with caffeine+Along with danger, Laura is a caffeine addict. It gives her a slight buzz she can't resist. But after all this time, it takes high doses to get to it. So it's rare to find her without some sort of drink within her reach.

--Small spaces (Claustrophobia)--As Laura is always trying to keep herself energized, combined with her natural fox energy levels, it's hard for her to be in a space where she has little to no room to move.

* R e l a t i o n s h i p s *MaverickMaverick is Laura's mentor during her stay in Brookvale's lab. The two do field work, although it is not uncommon for the two to dabble in lab work with Nova and Adam. Though the two often get along well, if any lab rats were to fight, it would be the two of them. As Molly often says, "The two of them are just too much alike for their own good."
BramBram and Laura don't usually mingle, as he is Maverick's partner and not hers. But they do enjoy spending time with each other, and try to find time after work for them to get to know each other better.
AdamLaura likes Adam, if only because he is quiet and non aggressive. The two get off to a bumpy start, as Adam has a hunting dog instinct to hate foxes, but they quickly work out their differences and begin to get along much better. Sometimes they can be found after hours, with him tutoring her in the art of the lab.
MollyMolly is the one lab rat Laura is still unsure of. She's meek like Adam, but she isn't as relaxed as he is. She's intelligent, like Maverick, but isn't as outspoken. She's warm like Nova, but she never seems to radiate it. Laura has begun trying to pry open Molly's shell and figure out what's inside, but she's not sure if she will succeed.
