Jacob nodded and let go of Melinoe. He looked at her, tears stinging his eyes. "Yes, you should." He agreed, quietly.

Mackenzie's eyes widened. Mackenzie? A huntress? Those seemed like two people that wouldn't go together. Yet, Artemis seemed to think she could be one. She looked to Darwin. Could she really leave Camp behind?

I grinned at him, "Must be cool to be able to do stuff like that..." I murmured.

Chance Jameson
I gave a sigh, "You know, with my dad being Zeus and all I thought I'd have some sort of cool power... I guess I'm just normal. Well, as normal as a Demi-god can be." I tried to make the last part sound like a joke to dispel the bitterness in my voice.

Perry looked up at Chance and sighed. She knew he wasn't joking about this. It must suck to be a child of the big three but not have powers. "Chance, it's not just about your powers. There must be a reason you were chosen for the quest over the others." She said quietly.

(Not much has happened since I gave you that last recap but it seems that Artemis is coming around the camp-fire, recruiting huntresses.)

Melinoe nodded. "Yeah. Well, I'll see you later." she said smiling.

"Kinda." Herrick replied

Darwin looked blankly. He didnt know what to do."

Artemis looked at her but then turned round. she sensed Melinoe had made her decision.

I gave a sigh, "I know, I guess I'm just disappointed." I mumbled.

"You're not used to talkin' much are you?" I asked with a grin. My head was starting to feel a little better now.

Jacob smiled. "Bye, I can't wait..." He replied, knowing he would be desperately waiting for Mel to come back.

Mackenzie looked at Darwin. "I don't know. Darwin, what do you think? It's a great opportunity... but should I leave?" She asked.

Perry nodded. "I know. But you don't need to be a powerful demigod with great powers, just as long as you're a good person." She said, squeezing his hand and smiling up at him.

Melinoe walked off into the forest after Artemis.

Artemis turned to look back at Mackenzie

Kai laughed again and shrugged slightly. "Well that's true. I have no idea what's going to happen to me. Good thing I like surprises." He scratched his forehead and smirked. "Well maybe I could sneak you in my backpack."
