Turtle dragons are dragon hybrids distinctly known for their turtle-like shells. They are often referred to as T.D.s, as a shortening of their full species name. Their adult sizes range from that of a giant tortoise, around four feet, to a much smaller green sea turtle. Their build comprises short, stubby legs with long claws and a compact body. All turtle dragons have spots next to their eyes, on their upper legs, and tail. Their diet consists of insects and plants; but they are also very partial to desserts. Their colors are normally very vibrant, and their shells are both detailed and expressive. They are mild mannered and make for wonderful pets.

› Turtle Dragons each have a set of horns, they are normally the same type, but on occasion they are special and unique.
› T.D.s love to swim; their fur is covered in a special water-proof coating that enables them to spend long amounts of time in the water.
