A turtle dragon is a species of dragon that is distinctively known for their turtle-like shells. (They can also be called T.D.s) Most adult T.D.s grow up to the size of a giant tortoise (about 4 feet!), but in rare cases they can be as small as a green sea turtle. They have short, stubby legs with long claws and a compact body. All turtle dragons have spots next to their eyes, on their upper legs, and tail. Their diet consists of insects and plants; but they also love any kind of dessert. They are well known for their colorful and detailed shells and for making great pets. ^^
✿ Turtle dragons are usually bright in color. c:
✿ The design always has to have a theme. -The theme is represented on the T.D.'s shell. For example, if the theme is leaves, then the T.D.'s color would be green and they would have leaf designs on their shell.
✿ They always have horns. -There's only one pair of horns I made lines for (the ones shown above), but if you're an artist you can make custom horns.
✿ T.D.s love to swim. They have a special water-proof coating on their fur so they can't get wet.
✿ T.D.s with plain colored shells are rare.
✿ T.D.s can make fire, but not a lot of it. -They can only use their fire at an extent any time they use it. Some are born with NFS, too. ("No fire syndrome") Which if pretty much self explanatory. '^^

✿ Don't whine if you don't win a certain T.D., as there will be MANY different ones. You're bound to get one someday.
✿ Don't be rude to whoever wins a T.D. when you don't win.
✿ Don't be rude in general. -The mini mods are more than capable of giving you a strike.
✿ Don't bribe.
✿ If you don't want to own your dragon for whatever reason, pm the artist who designed it and they'll put it up for re-adoption.
✿ When your dragon is up for re-adopt, you can not change your mind and want it back.
✿ Don't steal this species.
✿ Don't design your own turtle dragon if you're not an artist.
✿ No spamming.
✿ You can revamp your dragon, but don't change the theme of the T.D. and you must keep the original concept of the character.
✿ Please do not ask to be part of the staff.
✿ We don't offer custom T.D.s. Unless you're a staff member, you may design your own custom T.D.s (For now, the maximum number of customs for a staff member is 2)
✿ The maximum number of T.D.s anyone can have is 5. -Staff members can have 5 also, but 2 can be customs.(Optional)
All you have to do is click a T.D. and the information for adoption should be listed by the artist. There usually should be some sort of form to fill out or question to answer in order to win. Good luck! ^^
