Use: This definitely is not the first time I've considered putting up a form for Mora. I've always found her to be exceedingly precious, but I was reluctant because user-made species are always a worry for me. Typically, they have strict rules, but I did find the rules for Scarfblobs and they're quite simple, so now I'm going to try to get her now that I feel comfortable doing so. <3 I'd love to use Mora as a companion for one of my most loved characters Zoey. She's a shy young cat who has a hard time making friends, but with the way I see Mora's personality, I think that they'd be perfect for each other!

Name: Mora - I think it's an adorable name that suits her, so I'm opting not to change it.

Personality:

Mora is sickly sweet to everyone around her. Candy is probably made out of less sugar than this sweetheart! One unfortunate thing about this sweetness is that it can come off as mockery, even though it's just Mora being the polite and kind little dear she is. Mora was taught to treat everyone the way you'd like to be treated. Despite that not always being the case when it comes to others, she took this to heart.

Even the most bland or tedious of things can make Mora burst with excitement. Tasks that most would flinch away from doing out of the boredom they would be guaranteed to cause are the ones that she enjoys the most. Everything that she does is turned into a game or a way of improving herself in some way. All opportunities that come Mora's way are seen as a chance for growth and character buidling. For her, that's endlessly exciting.

When Mora gets going with one of her long-winded tales there's no chance of getting her to stop! She'd talk your ear off if she got the chance. Her chatterbox tendencies can swiftly become annoying, so this is one of the traits she works on curbing a bit. Still, she can't help that she's got lots of things to talk about!

Mora covets every item she owns and treats it like the greatest treasure (especially her collar). Unlike most materialistic creatures, she's not necessarily obsessed with owning more and more objects, nor does she value them over living beings. Her possessions are still quite important to her, from the little buttons she finds upon the ground to the pretty pink collar around her neck. She's quite the collector and will keep anything she finds that catches her attention, as long as it doesn't belong to someone else, of course.

Lastly, Mora is strong-hearted. Many of her traits are bait for bullies to relentlessly patronize her. It's always easy to pick on the nice kid, after all. Yet, Mora has, nor will she ever, let such trivial insults bother her. Her constant drive to better herself and bring kindness into the lives of others leaves no room for damaging things such as self-pity or doubt. No matter what happens to her, Mora knows who she is and who she wants to be. No one else can tell her otherwise.

History/Background:

They day was warm, pleasant. Blair couldn't help but enjoy the first inklings for spring into their little forest. It was only a few moments later that her mate, Zero, rushed into the clearing with a little scrap of fur in his jaws. He came up beside her and set the bundle down gently. It was not any creature that Blair had ever seen. She, from what Blair could tell anyway, was almost like a large caterpillar, but cuter. She had fur similar to that of a young kitten - all fluff and softness. "Zero?" She meowed curiously as she continued her examination of the light colored creature. "I'm just as confused as you are Blair," Zero admitted. "But she was all alone, and you make such a good mother I figured we could look after her, at least until someone comes looking for her." As he spoke the little one burrowed close to Blair's side and let out a flurry of content noises. "I suppose I can do that," Blair responded as affection filled her purple gaze.

It had been nearly a year since the creature, named Mora by her adopted mother, had been rescued by Zero. Much to her parent's surprise, she fit in and got along with nearly everyone that called the clearing their home. Still an air of mystery hung around the young girl. Her parents remained unknown as well as her species. No one around them seemed to mind, but the confusion still nagged at Blair. Mora deserved to know where she came from, but the pretty calico could think of no way to find out. Instead she settled for being happy that she had a daughter to take care of with Zero.

Mora was content with her life. Her loving parents were always there for her, and she felt as if they were destined to find her alone in the forest. Blair could not have kits of her own and Mora hoped that she was a sufficient substitute for that part of her adopted mother's life. She was on good terms with nearly everyone in the forest, except for all of Crucifix's gang - but no one was on good terms with them. Her fighting abilities were next to nothing, but she was good with the younger members of their group, and always helped her docile friend Zoey become more comfortable around others. On occasion she couldn't help feeling lousy when everyone around her took part in the battles over dominance between their group and Crucifix's, but that didn't matter much. In all honesty, Mora found the fights to be stupid. There was plenty of room in the forest for both groups to cooperate effectively, but neither was willing to come to an agreement.

More than once, Mora had made the mistake of trying to negotiate with them on her own. Leading to a few cuts and bruises that still hurt weeks afterwards. The cruelty of others was something that she found hard to comprehend. After all, every single one of them was just trying to live their lives. Survival was key in the forest, but they didn't have to fight over it. Perhaps everyone just needed a bigger push in the right direction. Mora needed a better plan.

Okay! So, random rambly story that I just wanted to post before deadline. I apologize for its lack of quality. Some health issues for the past two weeks have kept me from really thinking up anything grand, but as I typed this up I sort of thought of a vague idea. Mora's different from everyone else in the forest, that's obvious enough, but I thought that she could maybe be the answer to all the problems between Zero, Crucifix, and their respective group members. It'd definitely be something that would require more thought than my tired brain can muster at the moment, but I think it'd be fun. c:

Personality:
Calypso is very shy. She will stay alone if she could. She'd listen to music, draw, write, but she wants to avoid other "people". She is good at singing, and all of the artistic stuff. She isn't a sport girl. She'll warm up to people she likes. She can get goofy, kind, and bubbly. So basicly she has 2 sides of her, the hidden one, and the fun one. Most "people" know her hidden side because she doen't talk much. When she is with close friends they draw, run outside, and do fun stuff together. After all, Calypso is a wonderful canine, and will always be.

Tori, born Torin Clawswipe, comes from a large city, Dragon Soar, located at the top of a large red mountain. Tori grew up with an affection for pseudo magick, magick made by machines. Her admiration for machines lead her to school in mechanics, and eventually, she acquired a job as a mechanic smith.

Her first mechanical weapon was a sword. The sword had small holes in the blade where small pipes would shoot out fire, making it look like the blade was on fire; a pseudo spellsword. For years she made pseudo spellswords, staves, and spellbows. Tori became one of the best mechanic smiths in Dragon Soar's city. She made a decent wage which she shared with her family.

Once every 20 year in her world, the all the moons turn red and each moon takes its turn at eclipsing the sun. Called "Blood Sun", this strange phenomenon leaves the planet dark and tinted in red for three days. Like the full moon is associated with weird happening on Earth, this day is associated with strange happenings. Crime rises, most commonly theft and treason. While it might just be superstition like on Earth, most believe it is the last form of True Magick, a punishment from the gods that causes people to go mad.

Tori, currently being only 19, had experienced this day first when she was 16. For the first day, she hid in doors, fearing all of the terrible stories her mother and father had told her; however, she had a job and she had taxes to pay. On the second day, she when to her shop. Nothing was stolen, to her relief, but on her workbench was a envelope. It had a red rubber seal embroidered with a unicorn's head.

For what felt like the longest time, she did not open it. The unicorn's head was a family crest for one of the most powerful families in the world, the Liontails. Many thoughts crept through her head: a cease and desist perhaps? Or maybe it was a commission. A commission from such a royal family would send her reputation skyrocketing, perhaps they wanted her to personally craft new weapons for them.

She opened the letter.

"Nhi clekb Nas l'hels niogr."

What does it mean? Who sent it? Where did they go? Are they in Dragon Soar? All her questions had no answers. She continued to read and reread the sentence, and finally, said it aloud. All the electricity in her workshop went out, light cores busted and had to be replaced.

For days she left work. The sentence, the language, the mystery burdened her too much to work. She searched libraries and asked more elders than she could remember, and yet she found no answers.

One year later, the letter was an after thought. She continued her work and life. She carried the letter with her in an orange messenger bag as a reminder of her first "Blood Sun". She had come to the conclusion it was a letter written by a man who had gone mad or perhaps a cruel prank. One night after finishing her work, she dropped the letter on the way home. She turned around to retrieve it but someone had already bent down to pick it up for her.

He was tall and large, he had a coat of yellow with black stripes jutting every which way and had a white mohawk. He wore heavy metals made of fine steel. For a moment her paused and stared at her letter, then, slowly looked at her.
"Where did you get this? What is your name?" He had asked as he narrowed his icey blue eyes.

Tori had replied it was given to her, but she did not know who gave it to her or why. For what felt like a century, he stared and looked her over with slitted eyes. He gave the letter back and told her his name: Lorde Zarik Longtooth.
"Do you know what it means?" He had asked.
Tori didn't know. "It's just some prank", she had replied.

The large noble yellow tiger shook his head.
"It means: The Black Sun shall reign."

Tori had hundreds of questions for him, but Zarik simply told her to go to The Guild with him. From there, she joined. Zarik had requested her as his new partner and apprentice. He explained the "Black Sun" was a kingdom far to the South who had captured the essence of True Magick, but was confused as to why they had sent a letter to a lowerclass citizens like Tori. Zarik had explain the language the Black Sun wrote in was a language long dead to their own kingdom, a magick language that only those of the Black Sun could use.


Tori is apart of an extensive adventuring guild called The Adventurers Guild. The guild is comprised of hundreds of members who join for numerous reasons. Tori joined for treasure, more specifically, rare weapons and useful artifacts. Her favourite missions and adventures involve scouring vast landscapes. Dungeon crawling, on the other hand, is her least favourite Being confined to a dark cave with limited space isn't exactly fun, at least to her. Zarik Longtooth, her Berserker partner, would disagree.

Tori's rank in the guild is Master Class R, the lowest master class. She wields a steel steampunk staff that shoots blue electricity.

Steel Electric Shooter - Found in a wooded area called Lockheart's Wooden Cove. Steel staff that shoots blue electricity. Her primary weapon.

Electric Power: 200 out of 255 possible (sub-par master)

Steel Surfer - Custom item. It's her main transportation; a hover-board. Has the unique feature to change shape into a steel robotic cat with glowing eyes. Often when in the latter form, it is used as a flashlight and used for storing details/information [such as locations]. Named Beep Beep due to the noise it makes.

She has various items in her pink and orange messenger bag. She has a few elixirs to boost health, charges for her staff. Her backup weapons are small sharp metal stars that electrocute on contact. She has no melee weapon. She carries a few smokeballs in case her evasion skill isn't good enough. She also has a small electric shield, but rarely uses it, as blocking/defending with her steel staff is usually easy enough.

Stalking - So many juicy secrets.....
Staves - Especially the electric kind.
Zarik - Suspicious, but kind.
Her Parents - Of course.
Hoverboarding - Especially on sand dunes and in snow.
Accessorizing - Despite her dark fur, she loves bright colours!
Starlight - Pretty and mysterious (she assumes like herself.)
Learning - Mostly about powerful weapons and houses.
Scouting - So much freedom in scouting a landscape for trouble.
Dragonlings - She'd like a pet one, someday.
Kirin Meat - Rare, expensive, and yummy.
Unicorns - Said to exist somewhere, and wield True Magick!


Dungeon-Crawls - Cramped and boring!
The Guildmaster - What's his problem anyway?
Hammers has weapons - It's for Smith work.
Gryphons - Big lion bird only good for quick coin.
Pranks - They're not very nice.
Paperwork - For an adventuring guild, there's a lot of writing.
Cleaning - What's the point.
Cooking - She's one of those raw lovers.
Sneaky Catfolk - She may be sneaky, but sneaky others are bad.
Longswords - Heavy, clunky, takes two hands, slow.

Tori is often rushing into situations without any plan of any sort. She often figures he high Evasion skill and smokeball combos can get her out of any trouble she may face. Being a master in Evasion and having a 20 point boost for each smokeball, this is usually true, but some monsters and enemies she comes up against have a Aim stat far beyond a master stat.

On one particular dungeon crawl, Zarik and Tori encountered a gryphon. The two had accidentally stumbled onto it slumbering. Zarik had suggested leaving the cave and returning when the gryphon had left, but Tori had other "plans". Tori, seeking to slay the gryphon and sell its carcass, rushed in and startled the sleeping bird. Gryphons have a the highest Aim stat of any creature in their world, it has a God stat of 350. Gryphons also possess high Melee stats and even higher Health.

The battle between the two eventually went into a "stalemate" of aim, attack, attempt to evade. Zarik eventually had to intervene and lay down some old fashion hack n slash melee. At the end of the day, the cave held no treasure, the gryphon had fled, and Tori had developed a deep loathing for general dungeon crawling.

[Nosy]
Tori is no stranger to butting in to the business of others. Often enough, she spies on Zarik. Most of the time she only hears about boring berserker stuff, however, she's discovered Zarik seems to have a small distrust of her. She often hears him whispering to other Lordes about her little note, her lineage, and various other things having to do with her. Often, Tori uses Beep Beep to spy on others.

Tori also asks many questions, too many. Zarik has become so annoyed by her questions, she can only ask him one question a week! Sometimes she asks questions she shouldn't, such as why Zarik was talking to so and so, why they were talking about her father, who that guy was, why the Guildmaster doesn't like her, and other generally impolite and suspicious questions.


[Selectively Determined]
If there was never such a thing, there is now. Tori enjoy tackling big problems. A strange letter, a gryphon, stalking Lordes and Ladies, attempting to craft impossible weapons, all very hard yet she takes these tasks head on.
She, however, has no willpower in tackling small problems. Cleaning, you should see her guild room. Then there's paperwork formalities in the guild. She's even grown bored and undermentioned in her machine smithing work, there's no fun in make the same boring weapon over and over again for the guild.
