Name You'd Choose for It: Samuel (SAM-yoo-el)

Reason You Want It: I just love the colors on this design, they go great together. I adore the colors on it, the warm colors are an great choice and the green eyes are just an lovely touch to it. I love Halloween and well this reminds me of the holiday so much, I do actually have an character that was themed after Halloween and I just love him. The two would go great together, the one I got last year was a black stallion with a flame mane and tail(its Nightmare, whom which I adopted from this Agency X3) I also love Autumn,which is my favorite season because of the colors and the changing from summer to winter. Samuel reminds so much of the season because of his colors. I would also like to include him in my Random Play Skits(which I will be starting up again soon :3), short stories, I would also get art of him and attempt to draw him myself. He would also make an awesome addition to my characters because I always wanted an character with horns and well he would be an first for me. I love horned animals and its kind of sad I don't have one, so he would be an special addition as well. I plane to have Samuel be Cassie's mate, they would look great together. There was an story idea that I have for the two as well and of course I do have great story ideas for Samuel too.
History/Background/Other:
Species/Breed- Demonic Hound, he was born a normal breed of dog which has been long forgotten after so many years after Samuel was "reborn".
Meaning Behind Name- I actually thought of his name from an TV character from an show I watch, which is called Supernatural(The character would be Sam Winchester). I don't know what made me think of Sam when I saw this dog, but when I thought about it the thought made sense. Sam Winchester has demon blood in him but is overall an good guy. I know that Sam doesn't look like a demon(but in the show demons take over human hosts so they don't have an demonic look to them). My impression I got from this character is that even though he looks evil and demonic doesn't make evil(but that isn't what I plan for him at first, he is actually going to be quite evil in the beginning). He looks like he could have an good side, his face looks innocent to me and that he is able to be good. The connection I made with this character and the character from Supernatural is kind of strange but I thought it would also be awesome to have something that reminds me of the series. "Samuel" the name itself is kind of ironic for this character, which kind of adds an feel to an character. Samuel is of Hebrew origin it means "God Heard". It could also mean "Requested of God" "God's Heart" or "God's name". As you can see this name is kind of odd for an demonic character, for the meaning of it is kind of out there for an demon name. I think its an great touch on this character, its not something that this character would probably be named.
Family- It is unknown what Samuel's family is, its unsure where his family is or how many is in it. He was born an "normal" mortal dog but then was reborn as an Demonic Hound, so its kind of hard to make heads or tails of it. If Samuel had an family they would most likely be long past due because it is unknown of what age Samuel is. It is somewhat hinted that he might of have siblings when he was mortal but as stated before that is unknown. There might be some relatives that might be still living but Samuel doesn't ever go out of his way to ever find that out because the relative might not even know about him. Samuel is also somewhat ashamed of what he has become and doesn't want to show his blood kin. He though doesn't really hang around with anyone, even those of his own immortal breed so he also doesn't have much of an bond with anyone.
Powers- As stated before Samuel is immortal, he has no life span. He will never die of old age or anything of the like. Samuel is more durable then a normal dog. He can take multiple hits and still be able to move, he can also fall from amazing heights and not die. Actually I want to point out that he is basically unable to die, he is an supernatural being and it is quite hard to kill. Samuel can make himself invisiable ro mortals and only lets them see him, if he wants to be seen. Some people believe when they see him that he is an ghost because they couldn't see him. Samuel is super powerful, he doesn't look like it but he is very stong. Samuel can see as clear as day in the dark and can sense heat, of which he is drawn to. He has an cooler temperature then a normal dog,so he longs for warmth. Samuel has the ability to read minds and has a stronger sense of smell then an mortal dog. He has the ability to collect the souls of the victims that he kills.
Likes/Dislikes- Samuel doesn't like sunlight all that much, its not that he is terrified but it just sort of irrates him. He loves the feeling of warmth and is always seeking out to get rid of the internal coldness that he is bound to feel. He doesn't like to be called Sammie so it could be used to taunt him, for some reason it makes him really made to be called Sammie but oddly he doesn't mind being called Sam but prefers to be called Samuel. He loves sunsets, the explosions of color in the sky and the way it is an connection to light and darkness. Sometimes he will go out early to just see sunsets but he doesn't care much to see the sun rises.
Fun Things to Know about Him-
*Samuel is more towards cold then warm despite the fact he has warm colors in his fur. I did that because in a book I read earlier this year, Hell isn't actually hot with fire but freezing cold. Its so cold that it burns.
*Samuel was born a mortal dog but then was made into a Demonic Hound. He got bigger when he was reborn but he kept the same body structure and mass.
*Samuel knows latin quite fluelently but odd thing is that he didn't know any latin before being reborn.
* Samuel follows the command of demons but sometimes will do things and act on his own terms. He actually likes to act on his own more then following the commands of demons. Samuel is though bound to obey the commands that he is given. Most of the times its usually to collect the souls of those unfortunate whom made an deal with the devil.
*There is an reason for Samuel's coloring but that is an secret that hardly anyone knows,even Samuel doesn't quite know. He has been called "fire kissed" quite a few times though.
*Samuel actually has several names that are connected to him, but he prefers his given name over anything else.
Song That Reminds me of Him- Animal I've Become by Three Days Grace. I think its says a lot about Samuel, he didn't have a choice about becoming a demonic hound. His personality changed from when he was an mortal dog and he has become more dark ordinated. Samuel lives in a constant nightmare and there isn't a way for him to get out. He knows he is an monster and all he wants to do is wake up and for all this nightmare to be over. Samuel though can control himself to a point, he can't always be in control but he tries. This song makes me think of Samuel a lot <3
Personality- Samuel can be rude and nasty at times, but he is mostly sarcastic then mean. He has an sharp tongue and likes to mess with other's heads. He knows how to sweet talk others because he knows what they want to hear. Samuel though isn't as evil as he seems, even though he does seem very evil to begin with, he can be quite nice if he chooses to be. He hardly ever smiles, if he does smile its more of an smirk so its quite rare to see him truly smile. Samuel is very smart, sometimes even too smart for his own good. He doesn't mind killing things but its doesn't really give him any satisfaction, so killing gives him more of an numb feeling more then anything. He doesn't really see life meaningful due to him living for so long and he knows how fragile mortals are. He also knows how to manipulate them, and sometimes he can get them to do evil things. He sometimes gives a smirk look to those who beg him to spare them, he usually sees mortals as lower life forms to him. Samuel does have feelings for others but he has grown to keep those feelings hidden in the depths of his being. He has been told many times that his heart has grown ice cold but there were a few times when that "ice cold" heart defrosted. Samuel mostly acts cold and non feeling towards others,which is why he hasn't really formed a bond with anyone. He can though be very nice to have around and is a good friend when given a chance. He does have some friends but they are few and far between.
Background- Samuel was born into this world just like any other pup. He looked no different then any puppy and up to a point he wasn't any different. Samuel was born into a loving home of which has become a distant memory to him. Its almost all a blur but its more like he doesn't want to remember what he was before. Samuel hardly even remembers where is name came from but always had the urge to keep it. He used to dream about running in a meadow with overgrown grass in the cool nighttime with his siblings. He wanted a nice calm life and everything that a normal pup wanted. That though was about to come to a halt, he had not a choice in the matter nor did he ever. Samuel one day wondered away from his home, he was an very curious pup. He was then ambushed and stuffed into a bag so fast that it made his head spin.This happened to be Halloween when this occurred, although Samuel had no clue. He was scared and felt alone, he hated being inside the bag. He thrashed inside the bag showing that he wasn't just going to let who ever stuffed him in the bag take him without a fight. Samuel was in the bag for a long time, most of the time he was being dragged off somewhere but all of a sudden there was no movement and he felt himself hit the ground. The bag opened and Samuel found his way out. He looked up to see what he though was an ordinary human women, but something seemed off. The "human" drew out a blade and with a single motion gave Samuel a fatal blow,killing him instantly. He felt no pain but was thrown into darkness,of which he couldn't see an end. It wasn't a human that killed Samuel but it was an demon that made herself look human, she then touched Samuel's head. He then saw a light but then started to feel a sharp pain. Samuel's fur on his corpse started to change color,he grew small but sharp horns on his head, and no longer gave off heat but Samuel woke up. He felt nothing but pure rage,he could tell that something wasn't right about himself.
The demon started to explain that he was no longer a mortal dog,that she gave him eternal life. She said said he was a demonic hound, a servant to the demons. He couldn't return to his old life,she had robed him of it but said that she gave him a great gift. Every Halloween demons pick up some stray dogs and turn them into demonic hounds for their benefit, and Samuel just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Samuel looked up to the dark sky and howled in a twisted way. The sound sent shivers down spines of those who ever heard it, it made animals act crazy and it just gave off an general feeling of evil. Samuel was forever changed...

Reason You Want It: I know I said I wouldn't adopt any more character... But her design is so gorgeous, I couldn't let her there without trying. I have many stories where she could fit, even though I think I already know where she'll go. I can't promise she'll get art from other since I can't pay, but be sure I'll sketch her and try to draw her when I can.

Story:
Kamaria was born a long time before the Age of Man, even before the Awakening of Chaos. She was the child of Magic itself, like many other beings on this land. She was given birth to help the souls of the unfortunate into the realm of the deads, so they didn't roam in the land of the livings. Her loadsome task led her into a life of loneliness and she barely had contact with other living creatures. She couldn't quite grasp was that choking feeling was at the time, but she now know it was sadness and loneliness.

That's when Dres awoke from his slumber and start bringing chaos and corruption on the lands. When the dark lord discovered the existence of Kamaria, she gained his interested. After all, controlling the spirits could be quite useful to him. He gave the girl what she never had, or that's what she thought : love. He charmed her and turned her against Magic. Kamaria had now a scape goat for her misery, and how she now hated Magic for it.

When Magic realized what was going on, it was already too late. She try to reason her, but there was nothing to do. Dres had corrupted Kamaria, like he had corrupted man Magic's children. She did the only thing she could, she cursed Kamaria to stay young so that her powers wouldn't grow too much and cause more problems.

Kamaria was really angry, but her adoptive father, Dres, couldn't reverse the spell. With the years, Kamaria learnt to use her innocent appearence to lure not only the dead souls, but also living beings. Now that man came to the land, she is happier than ever because she has now more souls to lure.

Personnality:
Despise her cute demeanor, Kamaria is cruel and harsh. She doesn't show any of her feelings except when Dres is around. Kamaria hides her hurted feelings behind a mask of irony and she seems barely interested in what goes around her. She's in fact really scare to be alone and is still hurted that her own mother didn't love her (or that was she thinks).

Likes:
-Dres, he is a father figure to her.
- Night, the stars are like a thousand souls in the sky.
- Sweet food, it's so yummy!

Dislike:
- Humans, they are so stupid and easy to lure.
- Hot temperature, she isn't fit for that.
- Joy, if she can't be happy nobody will.
- Magic, she hates her deeply.
