Why was this minx found half-drowned? Well it is a long story but here it is: One day Coral was at the beach with her best friends when a huge thunder storm came and her friends were still in the water and so was coral. So when it started thundering Coral was under water and her friends ran away without thinking about Coral. So when Coral finally decided why no other Minx was in the water she looked up and saw that it was pouring. She called out for her friends but then she figured out they were gone. Coral decided to just stay put until the storm was over because she couldnt swim with all the waves pushing her farther. Finally when a wave came rolling in she screamed and their she was being drowned! Finally at the last moment she saw a piece or orange coral. She grabbed onto it for her little minx life. Finally the storm was over. Her friends came back and said sorry. Coral just stood their with the little piece of coral. Se decided she would hold it forever just so she could have a peice of it since it saved her life.

Why was this minx found half-drowned?

Iskra was with her family, gathering small fruits and berries from along the shore when it started to rain heavily. Her family ran for cover, but Iskra had been born blind. She didn't know, and the wind was too strong for her to hear them over, despite her amazing hearing. Iskra stumbled too close to the tide, and fell in. She was swept away into the ocean for hours, tossing and turning. When the storm finally ended, Iskra found some coral to hang onto so she wouldn't drown. A pair of sea turtles found her and carried her to shore. Iskra lay on the sand waterlogged for hours before anyone found her.

Personality:

Iskra is bold and daring. She's very intelligent. Despite having no sight, she likes to make her own destiny, and do whatever other minx can do. Iskra's dream is to travel the world.

-An Excerpt From Iskra's Diary-

This is Iskra, a minx from a small community of us living in a seaside woods. I am, as you know if you have read the previous entries, blind. My sister is my scribe for these entries in my journal that shall record the past.

Today strange men wandered into our hollow, seeking some type of root. We have heard them calling out many times before, but this is the first they have actually entered our domain. A few dens were torn up, but other than that no great damage was inflicted upon our community. We believe they have found what they are looking for, and therefore won't return. What a relief.

I apologize for that. My younger brother Kirill has gotten into my section of the den, which is shared with my older sister Nestor. She's the one writing this. Later in the day, we will be searching for some special fruits on the coast. I'm very excited. That's all for today, Nestor.

(Iskra stays at the MCC for a few years, by which time her older sister has mated with another minx and had one child. Her younger brother is still single. Her father is dead, her mother very old)

Today we have re-examined the small new minx. She has a very rare disease in her blood which may have caused her blindness. She seems very confident and brave, despite her lack of sight. We vaccinated her several times, in the paw, neck, and rear. Her temperature was fairly normal, a little low. We released her for the first time into the enclosure to see how she does. More later.

The minx has been acting very oddly lately. She sits in one corner of her cage, not moving or speaking. The same in the enclosure, but the other minx gather around her and their presence seems to calm her down. We shall be commencing a new experiment shortly.

I don't remember my old name. I had one before the...accident, but I don't remember it now. Everyone calls me Coraline, because of the coral I had when they found me. So, I just use that name.

They've told me I'm a girl. I didn't remember anything after the accident, except the actual event of what happened, so I have to trust them. But I do think I'm a girl...

Why was this minx found half-drowned?

This is the only thing I remember clearly before the accident- what happened. I had been at the beach, playing in the water. It had started to rain. Hard. But I wasn't paying attention. I just kept diving and splashing in the water, having a great time. Suddenly, a huge wave rose out of the water, and splashed full force into me. I let out a scream and water rushed in.

Why was this minx found half-drowned?
Corral loved to swim and explore, she took a vacation to hawaii as soon as she got there she went straight ti the beach, she was swimming out into the ocean, "I want to scuba dive!" She thought to herself so she got the equipment and heard of a one if a kind orange corral, and she loved corral (Hence the name corral XD ) she was determined to find the glorious corral. She was out for hours looking behind every rock, she was almost out of oxygen in her oxygen tank and she couldn't pay for more, "just a little bit longer" she thought after about 10 or so mins she found the most amazing piece of corral she could see she wanted to feel it with her own paw she took off the scuba suit but almost instantly regretted it water flooded all around her and she slipped into unconsciousness she woke up on the shore with the corral in her hand, "it was totally worth it" she told everyone around her.

corral is a daring minx and loves beaches/ oceans even though she almost died XD she is very nice and is almost never mean to any minx

She swam and swam and finally escaped the great tiger shark. She was lonely and afraid. She swam for weeks and finally reached a beach. She has the coral in her hand because she was going to give it to her mother as a birthday surprise.
