"Hmm," Applefrost thought where to go. "How about over by the lake? We might find some mice and squirrel's trying to get a drink." she suggested, her ears flicking.

Applefrost nodded and headed towards the lake, her paws made no sound as she walked through the forest. She pricked her ears, hearing the lake lapping against the shore like a queen licking it's kit. She lofted her nose, a mouse's scent had easily caught her nose. "I'll be back." she veered off.

Timberclaw walked bshined Applefrost, walking in scne with the she cat and he smiled and pricked his ears aswell then he smiled and listend to what kinda prey there was

Applefrost detected Timberclaw near by, she tried to ignore it, she had to concentrate on her mouse. She crept closer, seeing the mouse not far ahead. She ducked down in the grass when the mouse had scented something, seeing nothing it went back to gnawing on it's seed. She crept forward again, her gaze rested on the mouse and crept closer and closer unil... she pounced, landing on the mouse, it squealed with fear, she bent down and opend her jaws ready for the killing bite to the neck. She clamped her mouth shut, the limp mouse dangled from her jaws. She turned around and dropped the mouse, then quickly buried it for later.

Dewstar gasped at his question. "Foxfur, why would you ask such a stupid question? Of course! I love you, me and Echostorm are only friends for StarClan's sake! I would never, ever choose him over you." she spoke truthfully, though deep down inside she did not want to say it.

Applefrost waited, her tail flicking impatiently, she wanted to speak with Dewstar it was important. Come on! I don't have all day! I'll be bored out of my mind if their conversation last's any longer! If I could just talk to her, or maybe do something while they speak it would be a lot better! she took a glance at Timberclaw, what was he doing?

Foxfur looked at Dewstar, his amber eyes searching for any sign that she was telling the truth. Silent for what seemed like lifetimes, he nodded,"I trust your word."He said, a hint of purr in his voice.

Dewstar nuzzled him. She stepped back and gazed into his eyes, smiling happily. "What did you have to say to me?" she turned around but Applefrost had already been gone. "I'll be in my den if you need me, you may come with me if you wish." she told Foxfur and headed towards the highrock and looked behind her flicking her tail telling Foxfur to follow her, then she headed into her den.

Applefrost looked behind her, maybe Foxfur and Dewstar were done? Please forgive me Timberclaw. she thought as she padded towards camp. She padded into camp with a mouse and three sparrows. She threw them into the fresh-kill pile and glanced around, Dewstar was gone. She looked up and seen her mother's tail going into the den. She followed her. "Dewstar." she called. "Come in." Dewstar answered and Applefrost quickly entered. "Is there something you need?" her mother asked. Applefrost sat down and looked at her mother with a straight face. "I need to ask you something." she shuffled her paws thinking about the right words.

Foxfur followed his mate, the fire back in his eyes, his tail once again stuck straight up in the air, waving proudly. He trusted Dewstar. Now they were together, back like when they were warriors. Ah, the good old days He thought, entering the leader's den.

Applefrost opend her mouth about to ask, but glanced over her shoulder to her father. She rolled her eyes, but maybe Foxfur needed to hear this to. "Dewstar.." she began. "I wanted to ask... D-did you really.." she cleared her throat to make it sound more clearer. "Did you really love E-Echostorm?" she asked her eyes wide with curiousity. "I-I-I.." Dewstar blinked at her question. "I knew it, You can't even answer me!" she growled. Applefrost got up, her tail flicking irritably. "Dewstar, you betrayed me, Amberstone and Ashfall, Foxfur seem's to trust you again. How could you love someone else when you already have a mate?" she headed towards the entrance and looked over her shoulder. "Oh and one more thing, when I was born I was proud to call you mother, but everyday seem's like your fading away from me." she headed down the highrock and stomped over to the entrance, she looked behind her. Good-bye ThunderClan. I'll miss this so much! she let a tear slip down her face and fall to the ground. She turned and pelted away into the forest.

Dewstar sat in her nest, her eyes wide with shock, her heart pouded. She sighed and looked at the ground. "First Amberstone, now Applefrost."
