Story:Amaryllis put down her kelp sheet. She used a sponge to erase the red stone chalk, and placing the board down, she swam to the door. She looked around for a moment before she swam towards the palace gates. She bowed to the guards on her way out and made as if to go to the royal garden. At the last moment, she ducked off to the side and made her way around the castle. Her friend was waiting for her there. They swished their way to a small trapdoor covered with kelp and dove into it before anyone could see them. They heard the sound of the palace wall guards passing by above, and they held their breath.
When the sound faded away, they released a breath they had not realized they had been holding. Then, they stared in awe. Amaryllis had heard her parents arguing about closing the library, at which she had panicked. She snuck into her parents room when they were off on a trip and she found the blueprints for a large, grand-scale library with more books then she ever had known existed. She told her friend and they made a pact to go there and read every book there. This day had been there first chance to actually see it.
So, as they stared in awe, they heard another sound coming from one of the shelves. THey darted away into the shadows, but the cause of the noise saw them. "Amaryllis! What are you doing here?" Guilty, but sulking, she made her way to her parents and bowed. "I am sorry mother, father, but I just had to see this place! It is amazing!"
Her parents stared at her for a moment before whispering in hushed tones. "Amaryllis, it is yours." He declared in his booming voice. She stopped in shock, when finally the realization hit her. This amazing place was hers! Hers! She almost fainted from joy and she hugged her parents in a moment of excitement. Her parents looked at each other once more in awe of their own, then hugged their daughter.
