Amberlight sighed, the hunger in amber eyes. She rose to her paws and padded away from the scene. She wished that would happen to her. She sighed gently, tail swishing

[Africa.]

(Yeah, I was wondering that too xD )

"Oh, nothing, just thinking." He shrugged, not wanting to stress her, or it might make the pain in her paw start up again. Wait! No! He shouldn't care! He wasn't supposed to care! But... But part of him wanted to care, needed to care.

((Hahaha acutally I was talking to both you and Mango- I mean Fae I noticed finally that Versus's was a cat in your signature))
Dawnshadow shrugged and just lazily flicked her tail up and down Oakheart's back and her ears flicked every now and then as little twitches but she didn't do much than just lay there. She layed her muzzle on Brackentail's leg and just looked around quietly, unsure of what to do.

Oakheart shivered as her tail ran across his back lightly. He didn't protest or even look up. He mearly enjoyed the moment secretly. His heart and brain were at war. To love her or to love her not?

[Africa.]

(Oh xD And it's okay, you can still call me Mango, I don't mind )

"Feeling any better?" Brackentail asked, again before he could stop himself. Why don't you shut up?! He wanted to scream at himself, yet he somehow didn't. How was one she-cat driving him so crazy, yet he couldn't hate her if he tried?! Even worse, he hated to admit that she sent tingled through his leg as her head touched it.

Dawnshadow just sighed and half nodded-half shook her head. "Not exactly but kind of. I don't know if my paw will ever work correctly again. I-I don't want to be limp." She thought of the stories she had heard of cats that once lived in the forests long ago. Four clans. The stories were lost but she knew some of them. Bits and pieces and one was about a warrior that was named... Cinderstone... Cinderscar?... She fought hard to remember but all she could remember was the Cinder part so she just went on mentally with the story. She was lamed when she was hit by a huge monster and she became Medicine Cat. Just thinking of becoming Medicine Cat made Dawnshadow bristle.

[Africa.]

It was Brackentails turn to seem like he had read Dawnshadows mind. "You won't have to become a medicine cat, you know." He told her, his voice oddly gently. Hm, gentle... Pfft, that was like a foreign language to him.
(Yeah, I like it a lot ^^ I know, I'm not exactly one for the graceful stuff, but I still think it's nice ^^ )

Oakheart smiled "Your paw will heal. It's just fractured, not the bad. Once the swelling goes down, il take another look at it" he promised gently, flicking her ear softly with his buchie tail. His baby blue eyes glinted in the sunsets light, showing his inner battle with himself. He quickly blocked the thought from his mind.

Dawnshadow just sighed deeply. "I wish it wasn't fractured at all." she said softly. She didn't like feeling helpless. She glimpsed something in Oakheart's eyes but it was gone to quickly for her to see. "I still worry that my future could turn out like hers." she said, still thinking of the story.

[Africa.]

"Dont think like that... Think of, um, handsome toms and lots of pixie thingies or, well, whatever females think about..." Though it sounded funny, he seriously wasn't sure what to tell her to think about, 'cause he wasn't a female...
