Okay okay, I've remembered some of them ^^'
What's it like being in the army? Is it scary? Have you ever had to deal with PTSD? Are you under constant threat of being attacked or..? Have you ever seen a camel spider?
Also... Are you guys protective of your little sisters/brothers? That is, if you have any younger siblings.
Dear lord I need to actually get on more often instead of being a boring old person.
Yes, it's scary. Boot camp was terrifying, and it's certainly not for everyone. You have to get used to being yelled at, called names, and learn to work well with other people (Which are all things I have problems with). There are very scary situations all the time, even when I get to stay here at home (meaning not leave the country which I might here soon if Obama signs to keep some troops in Afghanistan).
Personally, I have not had to deal with post-traumatic stress. I've only been deported once, and nothing really went on there. Nothing life traumatizing really, though I do have friends and co-workers that have had to deal with ptsd.
As for being attacked, personally, no. As a whole (meaning the marine corp), I wouldn't know. That's for CO and higher officials to know. We usually don't get involved too much. Just take orders.
No, I've never seen a camel spider.
I am VERY protective of my skinny love (Sister). I'm constantly in contact with her and like to hear about her day and how things are going and tell her that if any boys mess with her, I won't hesitate to go over there and sit on the porch with a benelli across my lap.
