This is the main area that you will adopt from. It's not large, but its definitely bigger than your average puddle. We have a variety of creatures here, some being rarer than others. Check out the Field Guide to see all of the species here (the linearts for a several species aren't yet finished, so please be patient while we create them.)

Before you adopt, why don't we go over some of the specific rules for this area?

1. You may only adopt one creature each time a new litter (or group of litters) is released.
2. The form must be filled out completely. "WIP" may be posted in the Name field, but not the Gender field.
3. You may not edit the number on your adoption form. If you've messed up, you may quote the form that you have posted and correct it in your second post. It is OK to double post in this scenario.
4. Please don't ask when the next litter will be up. Our artists are hard at work making it!
5. Please do not complain if the creature that you wanted has been taken. It makes others feel bad and is likely to get you a warning.
6. The codeword must absolutely be spelled correctly (punctuation excluded). If you make a typo on the codeword, you are allowed to quote your post and correct it in the second post. Again, it is OK to double-post in this scenario.
7. Last but not least, please don't ask me to PM your code to you. Your code can be retrieved here. Note: Do not use the codes for creatures that do not belong to you.

Welcome to The Bucket! This is the place where all of the creatures from banned users or that were left over from litters go. Why is it called the bucket? Well, that's because it's literally a bucket. We can't afford to keep them anywhere better, so they all have to stay in the same place. Often the species aren't compatible, and there's a pretty big risk of the weaker creatures getting eaten. Will you open your heart and adopt one of these poor animals?

Cali Spaniel, not only did you ignore my request but you also seem to be deliberately trying to break the rules. The comment you made toward Tobias was rather unkind. She did not deserve to be treated that way.

I'm sorry that the characters you made did not receive the names or genders that you wanted. That's why we put the new guidelines in place. But you could have communicated a little better and said how it really made you feel in a kind way, rather than deliberately breaking the rules that I have set out just to make your point.

I understand that this was probably a misunderstanding, but I still feel the need to enforce the rules. You were unkind to two staff members (myself and Tobias), and that's not acceptable.

You have received your first warning. Please try to communicate better and tell us how you're really feeling next time before lashing out.

Tobias is exactly right. You have broken three rules unnecessarily, multiple times. You have not even shown any interest in adopting from here and you are already behaving with complete disregard to the rules.

I do not know why you feel the need to behave in such a manner, but it is most certainly unwelcome here.

There have been far too many problems with rule-breaking and rudeness lately, and it is completely unacceptable.

Because of this, I will be putting Frog Pond on hiatus until the new layout has been finished.

That means no more litters, no more join.me's, and no more posts until the hiatus has been lifted. Anyone posing on this thread during the hiatus will receive a warning.

No exceptions.
