What are Lykotaris?
Lykotaris are a recently discovered canine species, their name deriving from the Greek words for Lion(Liontari) and Wolf(Lykos), so called for the tuft of long fur on the tip of their thin tails and the thick manes on their necks. Lykos are the size of a small pony, sporting long fur, legs and ears. They appear to be a very advanced species, with the ability to communicate with many other species, animal and human alike. Each one has a bandanna wrapped around their forehead, holding their hair out of their eyes. Loyal and friendly, Lykotaris will capture your heart!
Adoption is easy. On the page of each Lyko, the artist will post a form asking for some general information, such as username, Lyko name, personality, gender, and sometimes some other things. You will fill out the form, and at the end of a date set by the Artist, the artist will chose a form they like best. There will be a runner-up prize except on the occasion of re-adoptions.
Once a Lykotari has reached adult, they may be eligible for breeding. Lykos breed up to three times in their lives, and each litter has 2 to 4 pups in it. Lykotaris do not have to have a permanent mate, unless the owners wish it. They cannot breed with Lykos of the same gender. In order to breed, both owners must be okay with breeding their Lykotaris, and then one of the owners must go to the nursery and fill out the breeding form there. Once the pups are "born" the owners may each choose one (If they want one) starting with the owner of the female. Any unwanted pups will go up for adoption.

Pups will grow to adult two weeks after being born. It is mandatory that Lykotaris grow up, unless you have a special event token to make your Lyko pps.
- Give all Lykotari staff and owners your full respect at all times.
- Do not steal anyone else's Lyko.
- Do not ask to become a mod, artist, guest artist, or any kind of staff. We hold competitions for this purpose.
- You may not have a custom Lykotari at this time. They are reserved for my staff.
- Do not mini mod, I intend to have moderators soon.
- Do not beg/whine/ask for owned or unowned Lyko.
- Do not bribe any staff or Lykotari owners to get anything Lykotari related.
- You may only own 5 Lykos.
- You may NOT sell a Lyko for pets/money/any type of currency.
- If someone has created Lykotari gift lines, you may NOT color them in for a competition entry. Owned Lykotaris ONLY.
- Only one person may own a Lyko. There is no co-owning.
- If you are banned from this adopt we reserve the right to revoke and re-adopt your Lykotari depending on the nature of the ban.
- As a banned member you cannot gift, share, or post anything Lyko related or post in any Lykotari forum. This includes offsite and character sites.
-Each time you break one of these rules, you will receive a strike. Once you have 3 strikes, you are temporarily banned, for a one month time. If you continue breaking rules, you will recieve a permanent ban.
