Paris Royale snorted. The snow fell around her, and she trudged through it. She was a newly two year old, having turned this age in the beginning of the month. She snorted again, tossing her head with a light whinny. She was raised by a magnificent mare and foals that didn`t care for the older... well... their aunt to be exact. She showed them though. Royale had turned into a beautiful mare, and would be prized mare any day. Her buckskin coat was scruffy right now though, as the winter was taking its toll.

~Night~
I noticed Winter, challenging Tohopka, my current lead stallion. I walked up to Winter and said simply, "Um, Winter, I'm glad you want me to stay with you, but, I just wanted to raise you into the fine stallion you are. I plan to have a foal in the spring, and you can come and see me when it's born. So, you should just leave and carry on with your life." I hoped he would understand.

Winter
I nodded and nuzzled her. Looking at Tohopka and nodding respectfully to him, I galloped off to find some mares of my own.

Paris Royale snorted, hearing the hoof-beats of another horse. Her ears went into a pin, turning her head to see Winter. She pawed the ground in warning, turning and kicking out her hind legs.

Winter
I slow down and stop, seeing the gorgeous, young mare. I snorted and flattened my ears at her action, then nickered kindly to her.

Paris Royale snorted, perking her ears towards Winter. She thought for a minute. This could be the first stallion to breed her. She wondered if he would give chase. She stepped forward, testing him. She swished her tail, pawing the ground before trotting forward, wanting to see if he was going to snake her or leave her.

Seeing the way she acted, I used my smooth temperment to impress her. I nudged her gently, asking her to join me.

Paris Royale turned her head, nipping Winter`s velvety nose and walking forward. Her long, black tail in his face before pawing the ground, pulling some grass up.
