You are walking through a thick, humid, tropical jungle, not quite sure how you got to be here, and not quite sure where here is. Hello! You gaps in suprise, hearing a voice in your head. You look around, but only see leaves and flowers. Up here! You look up, eyes widened. A bright yellow, black, and white lizard slowly sliding out of a tree. The lizard reminds you of a salamander, or newt. It is larger than anything you've seen, over 10 feet long! It's purple tongue flicks out to lick it's eye. I am Byron, you look lost! You swallow nervously then reply: "I-I am..." He grins, revealing rows of sharp white teeth. Come. He jumps down, sliding easily past you, then walking ahead. You watch him warily, then follow.
After a while you come to a medium sized shed, a young girl, only about 13, comes out to greet you. "Hello there! I am Perocore, as you probably know this," she gestures to the lizard, "is Byron. Byron is a Salamandrake, an amphibean base dragon like creature." Byron yawned then flopped down, creating a soft thud. "There are actually several Salamandrake around, and new clutches of eggs are always being layed. Sometimes, when a lucky person wanders in, they have a chance to adopt a Salamandrake!" She smiles, then hands you some papers, titled with "Studies".
Studies
Diet: Salamandrakes seem to be purely carnivorous creatures, preying on anything from finches to buffaloe. They seem to hunt alone, though younger, much more aggressive ones will often hunt together in a sloppy pack. Temperment: The infants are very sweet, as are the children, the adolescents, however, are extremly aggressive, attacking humans for fun, and each other. The adults settle down some, though, without proper reprimanding, they can be quite pushy.
General Info:They have the general appearance of a salamander or newt, and are often colored like so. They have very long, and very muscular legs, which propell them swiftly through the water. They can travel of up to speeds of 56 MPH, are at most 15 feet in length, 8 feet tall at the shoulder, and weigh somewhere around 2 tons.
News
We have a new species here in Pero-world! Zombie horses, commonly known as Death Steeds, these 42 hand tall (horse talk :3) giants dwarf even the heaftiest of drafts, they seem to somply be zombified horses, preying on flesh and brains. They are very hard to tame, and even harder to catch! So far two have been captured, my dappled stallion Gray, and a little palimino colt who is now up for 'auction' at the new 'building' the Stables! By auction I mean that you can guess a number between 1 and 20, and who ever gets closests wins him! Bonne Chance!
Also, codes have been added to the Adopted section, so owners may now display their pets throughout CS!

Night has fallen as you walk by a large male, he hisses at you, back arched, long fangs revealed, with bright eyes Pero explains, "That is a super rare vampiric drake, I'll be picky about his owner..."

The light of the moon shows you a large male clinging to the roof of his cage, he bares his pointed fangs in a wide grin as you pass by, making a clicking-like greeting at you and Pero. You can see by his meal that it's another vampire drake, but this time with a bow!

You peer into one cage, shrouded in shadows, after a moment you can see movment, then suddenly a skeleton leaps out at you, you jump back, but Pero just laughs, opening the cage to stroke the female's head, "Don't be afraid of her, she's just playing!" You notice the bones are actually markings, thankfully.

Perocore leads you to a large wooden building, inside are several empty stalls, but one is filled with hay, inside you see a small palimino colt laying down, knickering softly in his sleep, besides sits a tombstone with no name on it, dying flowers surround him, and bits of his flesh seems to be falling off. "That is our second-caught DeathSteed, read the news paper on how to win him..."
