Kennel:
12Name:Luonnotar, but her nickname is Lu (Luonnotar is Finnish for "Nature Spirit")Breed:Lu is a Nature Spirit, a very rare creature. Nature spirits have the ability to shape shift, though Lu very rarely changes into anything except a cat, wolf, or human. Nature spirits can grow plants just by walking past them, and they can also control the plants. Nature spirits are rarely seen by humans when they are in their normal form, which for Lu, is a wolf form.Age: Unknown. Many say that she is as old as the earth, and came to be when the Sky wolves did. (See story to learn about sky wolves)Why do you want this animal? & What will you do for this animal?: I am working on a story idea, and she would fit in perfectly. <3 Plus, I fell in love with her design. The top half of her is a more natural kind of coat, which is what I usually go for. But then, there are the bright red and spotted legs, which are iresistabley amazing. She will definitally be a challenge to draw, but it will help me practice with drawing wolves. ^-^; Personality:Lu is very patient, sincere and solitary, but she can also be very stubborn, and will hold grudges against others. She likes to use words instead of action, and is very non-violent. But, in times of need, she will fight. She always keep a bow and arrow with her when she is in human form as a form self defence. She usually holds back her emotions, and is hard to understand.Dislikes:Fire, death, Antartica, ignorant and obnoxious people X3
Likes:Music, plants, History/Background:Lu is considered by most scientists to be a myth. But the elders in countries all over the world know that Lu is more than a legend. She is as real as you and me, but is rarely seen. Before people became greedy and cold hearted, she would appear occasionally to those with a good heart. Nowadays, she is almost never seen, and if she does show herself, it is to only the most humble and kindest of people. Even though she was born at the beginning of time, before people, many say her homeland is Finland. That would explain her Finnish name. Still, she can be seen around the world, except Antarctica. (She dislikes it because of the lack of plants and life.) Lu has been seen on the walls of ancient civilizations, and is shown to represent happiness and a year of good crops. Lu has one main friend, known as Aurora. Aurora is a sky wolf, another “Mythical” creature. Aurora and Lu were friends for centuries, always there to help each other. But then, Aurora had two pups. The only problem was that their father wasn't another Sky Wolf. It was an earth Wolf. Already, the two types of wolves were forbidden to even meet. But they fell in love, and Aurora had the two pups, Belle and Todd. Everyone Aurora knew left her, furious that she had broken such a huge rule. But Lu stayed loyal to Aurora, and even helped her raise the pups. When the pups got old enough to go out on their own, they decided to travel around the world. But Lu always watched them, trying to keep them out of mischief and trouble. But Lu never spoke to them, and they never even knew that she was watching over them. But then, she decided to come out of hidding...
Lu was running through the woods, checking on the plants to make sure everything was ok. She checked on the oaks, which she had grown from a simple acorn many years ago. Now, they were taller than skyscrapers. Suddenly she heard something, and transformed into a cat, scampering up into the tall oak. She looked down to see who had come all the way out to these deserted woods. There were two wolves, a Gray and White one, and a brown one with teal feet. She instantly recognized the pelts.
"Todd! Belle!" She thought. She slid down the tree and ran right in front of them.
"Belle! Todd! I haven't spoken to you since you were pups." She meowed merrily.
Belle and Todd both looked at each other, clearly confused.
"Umm..... and who are you?" Todd asked disdaintfully.
"I.... you don't remember me?" Lu stuttered. "Well, it's been a long time..."
Belle looked thoughtfull for a moment. "Are.... are you.......... Lu?" She questioned. "You..... You're pelt.... I remember it......."
"Yes! You do rememeber me!" Lu replied happily
"But I thought Lu died!" Protested Todd
"Died? Do I look dead to you?" Lu said.
"But..... we haven't seen you since we were little..." Belle said quietly "We thought you left because you didn't like us......... But then mother told us you had died......."
"Wha..... Aurora......" Then Lu knew "I know why she told you I was dead..... I've.. I've been tracking you guys and following you.... to make sure you stay out of trouble."
"You mean, you two didn't think you could TRUST us?!?" Todd yelled
"Quiet!" Hissed Lu. "Your going to wake up the forest...:
"What do you mean, 'Wake up the forest'?" Belle said.
"Well, the forest is alive, and almost anything that is alive must rest..." Said Lu.
"Oh! Are you...... yes! I remember! Your a nature spirit!" Replied Belle.
"Yes, I am." whispered Lu.
"Can you teach me about the plants?" Belle said eagerly.
"I wish I could, but I'm much to busy Belle" Lu replied sternly.
"Oh..." Belle said sadly
"I always thought you'd love the plants like me. But I am much too busy.... Maybe you can look for someone else..." Lu meowed.
"But there is no one else... I need to teach her..." Lu thought.
"But no! I couldn't! I.....""Well, we must get going." Said Todd Tieredly.
"Ok...." Belle said. "Good-bye.."
"Wait, Belle!" Yelled Lu as they began to walk off. She ran up and placed a small whistle in Belle's side-pack. "Take this with you."
"What does it do?" Belle said, compleatly confused.
"Whenever you are in need or in danger.... blow that wistle" Lu whipered, before running off. Once safe in the tree, she watched the two run off.
(Sorry, this is like.... really crappy.... I did it last minuet.... ^-^; )

Art:
Other:{If there is anything left} "RPs and other writings are counted pretty much equally with art, since people use their characters in different ways and it would be sort of silly to say there is only one correct way to use a character. X3 Personally I think writing tends to show a stronger connection with the character, but then other people feel that art shows a stronger connection; it really comes down to personal choice and both are equally valid forms of expression.
Most of my characters exist only in my mind or as very brief written summaries and have no art or writing of them yet, but I still think about them a lot, know their personalities and quirks inside and out, usually have most of their life story worked out in detail, and overall am very attached to them." -AtwoodI COMPLEATLY agree with Atwood. :3
