Use: I have yet to find a friend for my fursona, as it's really hard to find a nice 'creepy' character. I mean, one that isn't too creepy or unusual but still can't be classed as canine, feline or anything else. I suppose that Narboo is more of an alien than monster, which would made adopting her as Creeper's friend more attractive. Narboo is quite a nice looking creature, the pale blues mixed in with the middle shades of grey provide a wonderful palate for the eyes, and a beautiful contrast to Creeper being mainly a mixture of warm colours. I would think of their friendship as a fire and ice sort of thing. Both not being exposed to the extremes the other possesses. Narboo would be the unfortunate creature to test the waters around Creeper, so plenty of art and stories would be done, naturally. I would take great care of her if she came into my possession.

Personality:
Once the life of the party, Narboo is now a shy creature of the night. Since being banished to Earth (oops, spoilers ;) ), she has had to effectively start her life right from the beginning. She is scared of all the new things around her, and is still very naive, and because of this other creatures often take advantage of her. Despite all this, Narboo is growing stronger and stronger in her ways. She is slowly learning all the ways of Earth, and with the not so helpful help that Creeper is providing Narboo is advancing from the, effectively, baby that she was when she first came to Earth to a strong presence in the night community. By this, her personality is still under development, I mean a human child isn't born with a set personality, they grow up and through years of ups and downs, experience and other factors they then develop their final personality. Narboo is currently in this process of development.

And the wind was beating against my little wings, I look back on my first flight and all that I can remember was the pure bliss of freedom. That isn't the case now however, where I once felt freedom, now I can only feel fear. There was a war started amongst my kind, and it wasn't pretty. Death plagued the forest which had once been so peaceful, and we were a dying breed, no one had time for pups anymore in this drawn-out and endless war. We woke every day hoping it wasn't our last. But on a lighter note, my name is Alexia, I am of the Jays. My family is relatively small, there's my mother, father, and I. Then there are my siblings, two of them died in this war, but my eldest sister Petra is still with us today, and thank goodness for that. The forest my family lives in is relatively large, at least it used to be. There are many types of Hybrids here, all of us birds but a long time ago, Emil, one of the noble hooded crows, rebelled against our king Siegbert of the Hawks, and took half of the glorious kingdom. No one in their right mind goes over to that side of the forest, it is a place of death and greed. The Crows and a few of the other Hybrids live there, and that is what started this war, it is a battle of land.

"Alexia!" Achim called as he ran towards me, Brünhild following close behind. Achim of the Cardinals was one of my closest friends, as was Brünhild of the Sparrows, so upon seeing them I stopped and waited for the pair to catch up to me.
"Achim, Brünhild," I said, acknowledging them as they came to a stop at my side. "How are you?" I asked them.
"We are fine but that is not the point Lexi, where have you been all day?" Achim questioned.
"Lexi, your family has been worried sick, they believed that you had strayed to...over there," Brünhild chimed in.
I began to explain to my friends that I hadn't been wandering to the other side of the forest, nor had I been kidnapped, I was just avoiding Conrad. Conrad was of the Swifts and he was considered the most handsome Hybrid in the forest. He had fallen in love with me in our younger years and now he was thinking to become my mate. My mother approved of this, but I did not, Conrad was nice but there was no space for love in this time.
"Alright Lexi, just, your family was worried, we were worried," Brünhild didn't have time to complete her thought before she was interrupted by the sound of a deafening cry was heard. Another soldier, lost to the war. The three of us walked back to our homes in silence, out of respect of the one our community had just lost. Most of the soldiers were of the Kestrels, they didn't have much connection to the rest of the community, and they were trained to fight upon their birth. Occasionally, they would send other breeds of Hybrids out to the battlefield, which is how we lost my younger and eldest brothers. But upon finding that the Kestrels made the best warriors, my king, ruled that in order to protect the families in the forest, that was what the Kestrels would live, breed, and do for their life until we could defeat Emil.
That night, my sister Petra flew down from the branches to meet me upon my arrival.
"Mother and father aren't happy with you my sister," she warned me.
"I know Petra, Brünhild and Achim already explained this to me," I sighed.
"Well, at least you didn't go over there," Petra reassured me as we took off and headed towards our nest. I explained to my parents that I was just hiding from Conrad, which only led to more scolding. I went to my bed and slept for the night.
I was woken the next morning by the sound of voices, it was Reinhilde of the Merlins, the kings royal advisor. I got up and walked over to my parents, my mother was upset while my father was comforting her.
"What's happening? What's wrong?" I questioned
"I am sorry but your sister is being called to the battlefield, we've run short of warriors and the pups are not fully trained yet," Reinhilde explained to me.
Everything was silent for a minute, no one uttered a word or even dared to move.
"I'm going to go with her," I stated
"Ah but you see my dear, you are not yet old enough to go into battle."
"I don't care, you cannot take my sister from me and leave me here."
"This is non negotiable, you know that girls are not allowed to leave until they are of age."
"I know the rules, I am saying that you are not taking her too," I snapped. I knew I was in trouble, we were not allowed to speak to those of the royal court this way. But when I looked at Reinhilde, all that I could find in his eyes were sorrow.
"Just, tell me that you are not taking my friends too, Achim of the Cardinals and Brünhild of the Sparrows?" I asked him. The question was painful but it had to be asked. Reinhilde shook his head no then gave his condolences to my parents and left. My sister was already gone, and she didn't even get to say goodbye.
My family was silent for the rest of the day, others gave their condolences throughout the day. Brünhild and Achim stopped by as well but I was in no mood to talk to them. It wasn't fair, my family was losing everyone to this damned war. In just a half a year's time, I would be of age to fight. And hopefully this war would end before that. There has been enough mourning. It wasn't until the next day that I finally left my bed. The clouds were gray and a faint remain of the war's echoes could be heard from my nest. That day I went with Brünhild and we walked, she comforted me even though I had told her not to. Things were silent, but it was a comfortable silence. I knew that my friend wanted to be there for me and she knew that I wanted to be alone but neither of us listened. So we jut walked, until later when out of nowhere she asked me the question.
"What if we went to war, what if we got your sister back and took our families, and Achim of course, and left this forest."
"Brünhild, you know we're not allowed to leave the forest."
"But you want to Lexi, I know you do. Come on, we can do this, especially if it's what it takes for us to be safe. We wouldn't have to be afraid of dying."
I sighed, Brünhild was delirious, there were laws against leaving the forest. She knew that if we were caught leaving we would surely be killed on the spot. So I ruled against the idea once again and we continued walking.
Achim met up with us later, there had been no more ideas after that. We all sat on our favorite branch and imagined life without constant deaths and endless battles. If our king killed Emil, the war would be over. But it wasn't that easy, Emil was a coward. He had hidden from the forest somewhere no one would find him. Complaining about Emil was pointless but I still continued to do it anyway.

History/Background:
In the Congo Rainforest,a little filly was born. Her zebra mother,Mandita,saw something shocking about her 'only foal'. She had the dusty buckskin coloring of her Trakehner/Fresian father,Vixern and the patterns of her mother. As a result she was named Oddity. Oddity was never wanted except by her parents. She never played because they teased her. She even has a list of mean names they've called her;Tiny,Puny,Little Tyke,Tykere,Oddster,and especially Different. Even her crush,a golden zebra called Bronshen,called her Different. The day he called her that she ran home crying. She stayed with her parents for several months. When it came time to join with the herd. She told Mandita that she would make herself a herd,one that appreciated her,and set off. She finally found after a year of travel,four misfit horses. They became friends,and to this day,their herd is thriving and growing.
