Wildclan
Territory:
Wildclan reside in a thick woodland, all around them huge oaks grow, reaching to the skies. The ground is overgrown with thick brambles, bushes, grass and other plants. Shallow pools of water gather during rainfall, taking weeks to drain. The territory is useable due to a large series of rabbit warrens, that have been extended by the clan to allow them to get around. There camp is in the roots of some trees near the centre of the territory, they have dug out underneath to allow the cats to live safety. They mainly consume rabbits, birds and mice.
Notable History:
Wildclan is built of the remains of four clans. These clans lived together in almost peace. A huge group of rouges ran them out, killing most of the cats from each clan. The cats who lived banded together to find a new home.
(So, basically imagine Scourge won, but different world)
Unique Skills:
Due to the diversity of the cats, many of the ones currently there are still the founders. They have a large variety of skills, some can fish, some are good at hunting at night, some at day, some in trees, some on the ground. At six moons old apprentices are given there names before being assessed, there build, the way they are, there colour, even the length of there fur helps decide which aspects there training will be focused on.
Reputation/Personality:
They currently have no enemies, as separate clans they were peaceful, they rarely fought unless times were desperate. Only rogues get harshly treated, loners are allowed to pass through if they don't cause issues or steal prey.
Average Clan Member:
The most recent kits seem to be gaining stockier builds, with darker fur to allow them to hide better in the undergrowth. They are slightly shorter than average, allowing them to use the tunnels easier, and to get through low hanging branches.
Important Notes:
None?
Sorry for the wait; I'm still typing with one hand.
Name Rating: 2/10
Name Reasoning: WildClan is about as descriptive as CatClan - the territories are always wild, as are its inhabitants. It doesn't really describe anything about the territory itself, so it doesn't work. Even if it was named for their founders, it's a no brainer, because every warrior is wild!
They have a series of tunnels and warrens that they use quite a bit, and I think that deserves naming.
Alternative Name: WarrenClan/TunnelClan, for the reason above.
Clan Rating: 8/10
Clan Reasoning: There's not a whole lot wrong, but I have one concern - the kits and their assessment.
The whole point of apprentice-hood is trying out all sorts of things and figuring out which one you're best at. A small cat can be a great fighter, a big, intimidating cat can be a kind and excellent mother, etc. You can't really assess someone when they're little, because whatever you decided is bound to change as they grow. Besides, cats who have little to no say in what they get to practice might not like not having the freedom to try everything. Even if a cat's good at hunting, they might like swimming more!
Suggestions: Allow them to work the same way that regular Clans do with apprentices. It's a very important system.
