This exact same discussion happened a few pages ago. Everyone is a non owner at some point. And non owner beans will be just as hard to get as owner ones. The artists choose the form they think is best owners have no benefits over non-owners so whether they can enter or not doesn't affect the way the contest goes?

Yes, but by having an only non-owner contest ensures there will be more people joining the community. And yes, everyone was a non owner at some point, but maybe they became an owner because of a non-owner only contest. I just think it would be cool for some of us to be able to fully join in the fun this species has created. (I for one don't own a bean, but i enjoy seeing what others' beans are doing, watching them grow, seeing the accessories they get. I still try to adopt beans though, so that i can be part of that too.) I do not wish to get in a full discussion though, so i will speak no more unless spoken to about this subject.

Speaking for myself I think it's fine just the way it is now! From what I have seen, we need to pour all we've got into our form to show that we're worthy of owning one. That goes for all adoptables.

Maybe they should make more at a time then? To give more chances for people to get them? Just a suggestion

But they have lives? To keep everyone happy they would have to reel out design after design after design. And then judge all of those designs. The staff probably make as many designs as they can between actually living there lives.

Sorry if it seems like I am being negative. But they do what they can, and could you honestly design with loads of people breathing down your neck just wanting more and more out of you?

This thread is not for discussions. Thanks for the suggestions, but this is not the place to do it. Frankly ideas get lost in the pages anyways so it doesn't come to much good. The fanclub can be used to keep ideas in a nice, organized place. That goes for artist contest/design/etc suggestions as well.

Now to the suggestion of artists picking non-owners: We don't pick winners based on how many beans you have, if anything we OPEN contests to non-owners only in some contests. I recently released three, for instance. But we will not pick a winner based on how many beans they do or don't have in a normal contest, we open those contests for all to fairly have a shot. It's who ever has the best/most fitting form that wins, and it is not fair if we only choose non-owners. Those people were all non-owners as said before, and now they have beans. You just have to keep trying and improving your character developing/form creation! ;]

And us artists try to put up as many adopts as time permits - but there is a guideline that says that two should be the maximum amount up at a time. Plus, yes, we do have lives and can't spend every second judging, creating, and doing other JBD related things.

Please no more discussion on this, if you really want take it to PM with someone or on to the fanclub! But really, I see no changes being made with these suggestions, it's pretty much set stuff.

Yes but you should get it okay'd by an artist or staff member before posting the finished aging. :]
