Why is that part metal?: He had been fighting another wolf, and the wolf had bitten his ears clean off. Doctors found him on the streets, and took him in. Using the latest robotic technology, they created a pair of prosthetic ears and carefully stitched the ears onto his head. It was a lengthy procedure as they had to drug him, and create a nervous system for the ears, and all of that stuff. But the ears work, and they look pretty cool in Dare's opinion.

Why is that part metal?: He got into a fight with his father after he changed genders, as his father had no idea that he had changed genders and he did not approve. It started out as a verbal fight, but ended with teeth and claws. In the fight his father lost feeling to his left front paw, and he lost his tail. But Sunny had a phantom tail (Still has feeling of a tail, even though it's not there) after it was amputated, and he let them try out some of their new metal technology on him.
