Name: Farse and Spook
Character Thread: I actually don't have a thead, as such... I do have this though: http://www.neopets.com/~Fohllie This is where I've been posting all of my current characters/their art/their poems/their stories, for the time being. As soon as Clash and Barking Dog have their first set of art finished, I'll be making a thread

Breed/Species: Spectral (White-Tailed) Deer that guard the doors of Grace. More info on 'Grace'/plot line can be found in my part of the writing shop linked in my siggie. It's the writing example of a prologue that I put in quotes.

Personality: Farse and Spook are very strange in their behaviour. Although the Deer Spectres are plainly visible to the passing by Angels, they cannot be seen unless they want to by Demons. Due to this, Farse and Spook will wait until the demon is in their presence, surround the Demon and appear to the trespasser.
Farse, the male, is always on guard at Grace's doors, although Spook, the female, makes a habit of straying off and appearing at random moments, scaring who ever is in near proximity.
Farse is a very 'set in stone' type of stag. He never strays, never blinks, and takes his 'job' very seriously. In fact, he's a very arrogant creature.
Spook is a curious doe, and although she scares angels on a common occurrence, their reactions often scare her more so. She is very timid because of this.

Other:
I'll be using both of them in my WIP novel, From Grace, and I shall also be acquiring them custom art.
Given permission, I'd also breed them through art ^^

Short story regarding Farse:
The stag stood stock still, his unblinking eyes locked onto some faraway creature that only he could see, or perhaps it was some of sense that only he could detect. Both eyes seemed to be dancing, full of the things that were swirling around his brain at that moment. Maybe he didn't even know why he had chosen at that moment to let his guard down.
Stomping one hoof into the cold stone below, he shook his head wildly, forcing himself to get back to the task at hand. He glanced around at the various buildings and alley ways around him. A small, white cat was lurking in the carefully manicured flowerbed to his left. He took a step forwards and snorted, steam pillowing out of his nostrils. She held his gaze for several moment before standing, stretching ever so idly, and sauntering away.
Cats are all the same, he mused to himself, watching her vanish over a nearby wall. Always want to be the tough guys, but run off all the same when it gets too much for them.

Short story regarding Spook:
Spook was running. Well, she wasn't quite. Not any more, at least. That much was certain.
A moment ago, she had trotted around a corner of the church and had crashed into a rather disgruntled looking angel holding a pile of scrolls. Upon the sudden clash of bodies, not to mention much swearing from the angel, Spook leapt back in shock, wincing at every word that seemed to lash against her seemingly delicate hide.
The angel stood, brushing the small specks of dirt off of his robes and began picking up his scrolls. Once this was done, he strode away, muttering, without so much as a thought for the doe, who had, it must be said, took a particularly nasty tumble upon the incident.
Maybe this place is not for me, she wondered, gazing at her bloodied leg with glazed eyes. Maybe I should stick to what I'm good at. Standing still and awaiting orders. At least, that's what they say...

Also, a very very short glimpse into their planned back story.... Fohllie style! xD

Although a rather cliche pick of song, I find it amazingly realistic to what I have in store for them, plus the whole irony of the plot of From Grace in comparison to the song is subconsciously a brilliant idea xD
