Just out of curiosity, if we reach our Mako limit, are we allowed to give one back to the original artist for readoption and try out for a new design? The one I had in mind was actually made by me, but still XD

Generally if you don't want or don't feel connected to you're Mako anymore; you contact the original artist about putting it up for re-adoption/gifting it.

Your first person to ask should probably be the artist who originally made them. If they're not available, then you can just ask around, just PM a couple artists and see if any of them would be willing to do it. c:

Hey guys! ovo

I got some news, it's not bad but it's not the best, so I'm sorry in advance. Makoatls as of now are going through a small hiatus. Expect a month to two months, but it shouldn't take much longer than that. I will be revamping the lines, the rules, the staff, and a majority of the species to make it smoother and better. I also have some ideas I want to implement, and putting Makos in a hiatus will allow me time to do that. All current adopts will continue and do their usual thing and but new ones for adoption. Hopefully this isn't a long hiatus.

I won't reveal what evil I'm up to, though! Bwahahaha.
You can continue to post in the FC and such, but yes. Expect lots of changes and goodies!

I've removed artists and mods from the main adopts page so they can't even see what I'm up to. If you are an artist or mod and have not earned your first custom, please PM me!
