I stepped up to Sih, proposing an invitation to come with me.
I took out an amethyst, holding it into the moonlight.
The moonlight reflected off its carefully polished edges in such a way that it appeared to be glowing.
"It's not much," I admitted. "Not much, compared to some of the simplest things in the world, like..."
My voice trailed off, and I looked at the night sky - coldly beautiful, but also warm in a strange way. Million of stars dotted the velvet black sky, shining down on the world.
I moved my gaze back to Sih - her pelt emitted the same radiance as the night sky, as if she had once been part of the night itself.
"You chose night-time to reveal yourself." I continued on. "You also mentioned that you liked gems because you liked the sparkles within gemstones. The night sky holds a vast amount of stars, even more ethereal than the glitter of gems. I have brought you a gem anyway, but I think that all your wishes blend into one - what you need might not be a gemstone, but rather the sight of the night sky."
I finished, waiting for Sih's reply.
This is the amethyst.
