I was reading KeeDrakes idea and had another idea. The whole point for the eternal apple was to keep them alive forever, so by making them die it would be sort of useless. Perhaps after three months of the same wolves, the box just goes to the healthy wolves in their environment with no issues and nothing changes from then on? And then, after two or three months they could make the box come to life again. Then you wouldnt have to update too many boxes...Just an idea.
