I made these adopts quite a while ago, and having come up with the concept for these almost a year ago, I am proud to finally be able to put these out on the adoptables market. However, shortly after making these, I have realised that I simply haven't the time to make these a regular thing. That is where you come in! :) I am looking to hire 3-4 artists, and 2-3 guest artists, to help me make more of these little guys! :D Unfortunately, I can't seem to find anyone willing enough to make color-ins these days, and that is why I'm holding this contest. However, there are just a couple of rules, so if you'd be kind enough to read them all through...!
.:1 Do not take any color in(s) as your personal character(s). The species belongs to me, and only official artists will be allowed to make customs, but none from this contest in particular. However, it is acceptable to transfer the design onto a different species.
.:2 All designs must be your own. If you use something as an inspiration, such as a plant/food/real animal, please link to the picture you used for inspiration. It cannot be an exact copy of the design in question. If you use a color palette, please link to that as well.
.:3 Line edits are acceptable for this contest. Please make them neat. Any style is also acceptable, and it is encouraged to make multiple color-ins to show diversity.
.:4 Don't base it off of any real/fictional characters. Characters such as Doctor Who or Spongebob Squarepants cannot be used as such-- they are copyrighted. Even if you use it as an 'inspiration', it will still be disqualified. Use your own ideas!
.:5 Don't whine if you don't win. Posts such as "I'll never win now" and "Mine is ugly" are considered to be poor sportsmanship. There's nothing wrong with complimenting someone else's entry, but don't put yourself down! Everyone has an equal chance of winning :)
.:6 Feel free to be silly! Go crazy with your entries, use lots of line edits, anything is accepted! If you would like to make an entry outside of the oekaki, go right ahead! You can even make your own lines if you would like. This is a creativity competition, I'd love to see anything you could come up with! :3 (Although it is preferred that you make at least one entry on the oekaki with the original lines, anything is fine by me :)
