Why?: There are a lot of reasons why I love this flower. For one, its beauty is enough to put any other flower to shame. Sure, at first, it looks like a regular old weed, but then you hear about the rarity of this flower. To this day, there have only been two in existence! It has been one of my dreams to finally see this flower up close, but alas, all I have are photos.

Japanese Maples are beautiful, and their red leaves remind me of a graceful little fawn. Even its name sounds gentle! When the sun shines through the leaves of the Japanese Maple, the light underneath turns red and the leaves seem to glow!

My neighbors have a Japanese Maple. Not quite that big, but it's pretty!
